kindly suggest for the usage of acebrophylline in children and any recommendation in any reputed guidelines i.e is it approved by fda and if it so please provide sufficient data. ## can acebrophyllin given to children and if then what is the dose. ## This is not approved by the U.S. FDA and is not used here in the U.S. It is a mucolytic agent and the normal dose for children depends on their age, for children up to 2 years, it's half a teaspoon, twice daily. Age 2 to 5 is half a teaspoon, three times a day and if over 5, its a teaspoon 2 to 3 times a day. Are there any other comments or questions? ## thnx for feedback !!
