I got Sandoz for the first time. Taken many other generics over the years. I have been awake for 48 hours. Can not sleep just lay in bed. I'm on 10mg four times daily. Last one taken 9 hours before. Racing thoughts and pointless projects since taking them. Feels some what the same when I tried crystal 10 years ago. Tried neighbors ambian to sleep, no effect. Anyone else have these issues? Obviously I'm calling DR in the morning. Other meds: lamectial 400mg, 40 mg Celexa, 5 mg percacet, 20 mg flexerall was told by dr low dose pain killers were safe w/ adderall. Hello, I just wanted to put this out there; I missed 2 days of my Brintellix, as I had to wait for the pharmacy to order it, and I have been crying constantly for 2 days now. I got it today, but just wondering if anyone thinks I'm being ridiculous or is it possible? ## Hello, Lili! How are you? You aren't crazy, that is entirely possible. Please don't beat yourself up over it. In the future, you may want to talk to them about keeping it in stock for you, or requesting your refill a few days ahead of time, so they can order it in by the time you need it. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, weight changes and vision changes. I started at 30 mg and it helped my fibromyalgia pain but wore off by evening so I tried upping to 60mg & I couldn't keep my eyes open was so sleepy so went back to 30. My doc said side effects will go away in time. Am wonder how long before the sleepiness will go away ## Hello, Crista! How are you? It is normal to experience side effects, whenever you increase the dosage of a medication. They usually wear off after about 4 weeks, once your body gets used to the medication. At the time, if they aren't improving, you should speak to your doctor. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Cymbalta as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. Took a dose 1/21/2011. Started getting hives 2/15/2011, and continue to get them weekly. From what I have seen on the internet, I would say I have angioedema. I am on a anti-histamine regimen, with poor results. Is it possible that the ZMAX is causing this? ## Are you still taking the Zmax? It contains an extended release formulation of the antibiotic Azithromycin, it is used to treat infections. It is specially formulated to continue working for 10 days and while a skin rash can be a side effect of antibiotics, it is very unlikely that it is what's causing it, so longer after you've taken it. What has your doctor said is causing it? ## First and only dose 1/21/2011. Pfizer notes on there warnings/cautions that skin reactions were noted in some patients even without further azit...

I am a 69 year old male who experienced upper gastric pain and was prescribed Mucosta t.i.d. times 7 days. After the very first dose of 1 tablet I began serious side effects: hypertension, constipation, inability to concentrate and panic attacks related to my inability to stop the effect of the drug. Depression and inability to experience happiness, or pleasure. I suspect my hypersensitivity may be related to the fact that I have genetically evolved essential tremor for which I have taken Corgard/Nadalol 40 mg for the past 20 years. WHAT IS THE HALF LIFE of Mucosta? I was given a 40 mg dose of Pantoloc which I also stopped taking after the first pill. I switched back to Omeprazole 20 mg which I took before with no problems and it seems to have ended the gastric pain.

I've finished my 22month course of 10mg/day. My doctor gave me the least dose to reduce side effects. Side effects were normal, dry skin joint pain etc. Recently I've been getting flushed very easily, several times per day on my cheeks and ears. I've finished the course 3wks ago and see improvement in terms of dryness on my lips and skin but the flushes seem to be getting worse. I've read it may take 2/3 months for accutane to get out of the body. How many more weeks till these flushes go as they make my face want to blow up with heat and its effecting me. Thanks!!

i am a diabetic taking metformin 500 mg and duxet 20 mgfor depression.frequetly i drink beer about 1800 ml.it is harmful? please advoice ## The reason you are told not to mix alcohol with prescription medications, is because it can enhance/worse the side effects. With Metformin, these can include: nausea, flatulence, low blood sugar and sun sensitivity. Duxet contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, an SNRI antidepressant. Side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and seratonin syndrome. My son has been taking the ip466 pills for 2 1/2 days now, for strep. Tonight he has been complaining of stomach pain and feeling nauseous. It's been over 6 hours since his last dose. Should he still feel this way? He will not be taking any more for pain but we are wondering when the pain and nausea should subside. Thanks for any help. ## Is he also on an antibiotic? Both this Ibuprofen tablet, as well as antibiotics can cause nausea, vomiting and stomach pain as side effects, according to the FDA. Thus, if he's still taking an antibiotic for the Strep, these symptoms may not go away, yet.

I've been taking Tecta for more than one year, have been experiencing weight gain, bloating, sugar cravings, and having hip pain. Also, my overactive bladder seems to have worsened. I didn't have any problems when taking Zantac, but was switched by my doctor to Tecta. Can this medication be stopped abruptly, or will I need to taper off it? ## Always taper off ... I know someone who was told by his family doc to cut his pills in half for a week and take half the dose before stopping completely. ## Joyce, Tecta contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, it is a proton pump inhibitor that helps reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, to treat conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers, and gastritis. Usually, there is no need to taper, but when you stop you may experie...

Is Cymgen associated with lens opacity? I recently found out that I have opaque areas in the lenses of my eyes. Vision disturbances are listed as a possible side effect, and I was wondering if Cymgen could be the cause as this condition is unusual in a person of my age (40s) ## No, even in the detailed side effects for medical professionals, I am only finding that it has been known to cause blurred vision in about 4% of the people take it. I have a persistent and nagging cough that has lasted over a month. My family Dr. presribed Rezira for me 2 days ago. I was coughing my brains out and desperately downed the small sample bottle he gave me before I had even made it to the ground floor on the elevator in his building. As I drove home, the cough subsided without a doubt, but I would say within 15-30 minutes of drinking the little bottle (it was one dose per bottle) I felt a really euphoric high. Each time I've taken it since, I've noticed the same "feel good" that it creates. I believe the active ingredient is Codeine, which I've had in a pain reliever like vicodin before and never noticed this effect. Is there a reason that in the cough syrup formula it would cause this feeling, vs. when it's in th...

I developed a fever and was prescribed Taxim-O 200mg by my doctor, along with other medications. After taking it for three days, my fever completely subsided. I was instructed to continue the medication for a full week. However, starting from the fourth day, I began to experience side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, and headaches. Consequently, I stopped taking the medication on the fifth day. If you didn't finish the full course of it, you may not have fully eradicated the bacteria being treated, so you should inform your doctor, you may need to take a different antibiot...
