Gave my chihuahua half of this pill, looking for more information on it. ## Hi mocha, Do you know what the name of this pill is that you gave your dog? Perhaps even a vague description of the pill itself? I was going to look up the brand for more information, but there are a wide variety of different treatment options for parasites. "Hartz" and "D-worm" appear to be a few of the popular brands for dogs. Purple and yellow capsule - lot number 2743ftn101

I'm trying to identify purple and yellow capsules with a lot # 2743ftn101 on the package. Is it for dogs? Dog wormer? ## Hello Letisha, I wasn't able to find any information with the lot#. Are there any imprints or markings on the pills? I might have better success looking it up with that. Just let me know and I'll try to help out.

may be over the counter.What is it used for ## Used for pin worm treatment in humans, prescribed OTC by Reeses as in 'Reeses Pin worm Treatment'. It is the base ingredient in 'Hartz Rid Worm'dog wormer tablets (113.5 mg each large dog chewable tablet). Both human and animal medication labels stated that it is a one time dose based on weight. Minimal SE and no OD sympyoms found by me.
