I would like to know if aspirin is in oxycodone. My husband has back pain and I have oxycodone/acetaminophen5-325 I use for arthritic pain. He is allergic to aspirin. So just to reiterate, there is no Aspirin in Oxycodone. Oxycodone is quite simply Oxycodone by itself.... Oxycodone + Acetaminophen on the other hand, is a different combination med (also known as Percocet), which does not contain any Aspirin either... I recently was on 7.5 325 T and doc just switched me to 5-325-TB. What is the difference between the two? As in what amount of aspirin/Tylenol, does the amount in prescription strength, above mean? Like 7.5 to the 5, & the amount that didn't change 325? I have severe lower back pain, after standing or walking for several hours, as well as after strenuous work around the house, bending stooping, etc., & an MRI showed spinal stenosis. As well as the knee pain, I've had for years! So switching down in meds, as the doc prescribed, may not work. That's why I was wanting to know what the difference in the two meds are? Norco contains: Hydrocodone Bitartrate + Acetaminophen I think acetaminophen is commonly misconstrued as being aspirin, however they are not the same. Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory (NSAID) where as acetaminophen is not. I hope this info helps! ## Acetaminophen (Tylenol) has no anti- inflammatory ability, so is NOT an NSAID. Having said that, it is otherwise, very similar in effect. It's good for fever, headache, and some pains but not those caused by inflammation.

I can't take aspirin so I have been taking aspirin free excedrin. All of a sudden I can't find it anywhere.
