I have hepitus c and take 4 10/325 percocfts a day.Am I hurting my liver? ## Yes. You are taking 1300mg of acetominaphin (tylenol) each day which you should not be taking ESPECIALLY if you already have liver damage to begin with. Talk to you Dr. about removing the tylenol from your daily meds and trying something different. ## Have your doctor prescribed them for you, and are they monitoring you regularly? It isn't that it can't be taken, but you do have to be very cautious. Acetaminophen can be very detrimental, and could contribute to further liver damage, or liver failure. How much oxycodone 5mg can I take per day before it affects the Kidneys? ## Hello, Charles! How are you? How many have been prescribed each day? You should make certain that you don't exceed that amount. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is no set amount that you can take, before it may affect the kidneys, liver, or other organs. That can vary from person to person and depends on your overall health, pre-existing renal issues and etc.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such a...

Of all the narcotic pain meds, is Morphine the LEAST likely to affect the liver in a negative way? If not Morphine then which of this type and class of drug is the least toxic to the liver? ## Hello, Keikeeo! How are you? Most medications are processed through the liver and carry the same risks of harm, as long as they don't contain Acetaminophen. Thus, along with Morphine, other options can include Oxycodone, Hydrocodone and Hydromorphone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
