Has anyone else gotten Lightheadedness and dizziness from Coumadin. I have been told this doesn't happen and I would be the first. My Coumadin therapist has never heard this. I don't believe that ## I find it hard to believe your therapist too, since there are a good number of webpages listing: headache, dizziness, weakness, fainting, nausea, and even flu-like symptoms as side effects of Coumadin (warfarin). All your therapist had to do was google "Coumadin side effects" and he would've known this to be the case. Here's one of many side-effect listings that show what symptoms you're describing: medicinenet.com/warfarin-oral/page2.htm#SideEffects I have to wonder if he's really lying or simply doesn't know how to use the internet. In any case, I hope t...

I have been taking Belviqu for about a week. I have experienced extreme fatigue, light headed ness sometimes stumbling.. I have also experienced confusion. I'm afraid because I have had MS symptoms that are similar. I stayed in bed most of the day. I may discontinue this RX. ## Hello, Lefty! How are you? In this case, it's difficult to say. Those are possible side effects of Belviq, as listed by the FDA, you may also experience shivering, diarrhea and abdominal pain. However, it could also be due to MS. It would be best to consult your doctor to have yourself checked out. Is there anything else I can help with?

My boyfriend is taking 2mg generic for Dilaudid for a knee replacement. He had no problems in the hospital with the brand name drug, but is having horrible headaches since coming home and using the Generic. Does it make sense that the generic can cause this? ## Dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, & nausea are all listed as common side effects associated with Dilaudid (Hydromorphone), no matter whether it's generic or not. However it is likely the different inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) of the generic version we're probably what triggered the onset of those headaches. I'd also keep in mind that generic medications can contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient - compared to the amount found in brand names. For some people, these subtle dif...

What is it prescribed for? I have low blood pressure and lightheadedness. Will it help? Local pharmacists don't have it. Where can I get it? ## Midrin is a combination drug containing Acetaminophen, Dichloralphenazone and isometheptene. It is most commonly prescribed to treat headaches. The reason your doctor probably prescribed it for you is the Isometheptene is vasoconstrictor, meaning it shrinks the blood vessels, so yes, it could help raise your blood pressure. As to where to get it, I can only suggest calling pharmacist in surrounding areas and seeing if any of them carry it or will order it in for you. ##

Three days into taking amox-clav for a sinus infection my ears started itching and being hot. The next day they were itchy again. I also had some episodes of lightheadedness. Felt like I could pass out. Are these side effects of the medicine? ## Dizziness/feeling lightheaded can be a normal side effect, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. The reports also list skin itching and irritation as being normal. Has anything changed? How much longer will you be taking it? ## I have four more days. The itching on my ears has stopped. Lightheadedness is no longer happening. I've never had symptoms like this before with antibiotics.

Is it safe to take quinine for leg cramps while taking methadone? ## Hi Beeper, I wouldn't recommend taking either of these drugs together, as my findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between Quinine and Methadone. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Talk to your doctor before using methadone together with quinine. Combining these medications can increase the risk of an irregular heart rhythm that may be serious. Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or special monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications.
