Does Ibuprofen 800 Have Codeine In Them

I need to know if motrin 800 has codeine in it? I need to take medicine but am allergic to codeine. ## The FDA lists Motrin 800 as containing 800mgs of Ibuprofen, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. Does 800mg ibuprofen help the two tablets of acetaminophen/codeine 30-300 work better to relieve pain? As well as hydrocodone 7.5-325? ## No, while Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen can augment how well an opiate works for some people, it is not going to make it equivalent to Hydrocodone. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. It would also be best not to take anything else, without your doctor's approval. Are they aware that you are taking two tablets?

I just started takin amox for ear infection and they gave me hydroco 5-325mg but it wont take the pain away I waz wondering can I take ibuprofen. Is that a big nono???? ## Yes, you can take 800mg of Ibuprofen every 8 hours. I wouldnt take any more than that, it can be rough on the stomach. Take with a full stomach of food. I've had severe tooth pain from an abcess, and Ibuprofen worked better than the Tylenol3 with Codeine the dentist gave me. ## I totally agree with Leo. I was prescribed Tylenol 3 with Codeine post surgery, but the Codeine gave me such a bad headache that I ended up taking Advil for pain relief and it worked well for me.

I have a pill that is cream colored. No markings just a slit in the middle of it. Is this ibuprofen 800mg and codiene ## There is no tablet available in the U.S. that has 800mgs of Ibuprofen and Codeine. And any prescription medication manufactured for sale and use in the U.S. has to have markings to enable its identification. Where did this tablet come from?

Took acetamin w/cod 1/2 gr #3 4 hours ago but it did not relieve pain. Can I take one more? Instructions say take every. 8 hours. Or shouuld I take 800 mg of ibuprofen instead. ## Hi Suee, Since the instructions say to take the Acetaminophen/Codeine every 8 hours- I would follow that and just take the Ibuprofen. I checked and there shouldn't be any negative reactions when taking Acetaminophen/Codeine and Ibuprofen in the same day. I'm looking for a doctor who will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in or near tempe / phoenix, (Arizona). I'm willing to get an MRI and take UI if necessary. Would like to avoid injections. Go get a damn MRI, actually get 2 of them simonmed and then one from another Imaging facility so you can have one with contrast as well as other medical records because you are not going to get s*** to relieve your pain, not even Tylenol with codeine, maybe or baclofen if you're lucky you might get ibuprofen 800 milligrams but anything else, good luck there pal. My dentist prescribed Tramadol hcl 50mg, Ibuprofen 800 mg and Tylenol for tooth pain. I am concerned about taking all three of them at once because I drive a school bus. Safety is my concern for kids as well as my own. ## Yes & No--you can take/do anything as long as "nothing goes wrong" 100% if you have an accident there will be a blood drawn even if it is absolutely not even your fault --so read your employment manual --you may be totally legally prohibitted. I'm taking Nucynta 100mg 4 x a day with IB profen 800mg 3 x a day for back pain but am currently out of Nucynta so I have been taking Tylenol/Codeine # 3 and # 4 with my IB Profen and a few 7.5 Meloxicam. I should be getting my refill today but I take the other meds to keep from going into withdrawels, been there several times getting off Oxy, and several other opiates and it is nothing nice. I got tested at work. I did h the night before and even early that day. Do you think my scripts for amoxicillin, ibuprofen 800 and tylenol 3 will clear me? I've also used Vicks 44 for a cold but I'm wondering if anyone has gone thru this?! ## I am not sure what you tested positive for, but codeine shows as morphine on a UA

I had dental surgery on Nov.16. They prescribed me amoxicillin and acetaminophen with codeine. On Dec. 08, I had more teeth pulled. They gave me a local anesthetic and a gum swab, and then prescribed Ibuprofen 800. I also used a Vicks Vapor Inhaler for 1 week. How long do these things stay in your system? On Dec. 28, my UA tested positive for a Benzo. Is this possible?
