Is 300mg, two capsules three times a day plus 50mg, one in morn & two at night plus1500mg keppra morn & 1500 keppra night, per day to much medication to be on for epilepsy. & what can this be doing to my body ## Hello, Kim! I’m wondering if anyone else has suffered stomach pain as side effect of gabapentin? I've been on it for more than a month and a half. I have terrible constipation as well. ## Those are listed as possible side effects of this Gabapentin, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes. I've experienced it myself, but to any degree of severity, and usually an acid reducer helps. Are you on any other medications? Have you ever had stomach issues prior to taking it? I had seen six doctors that all misdiagnosed my condition and finally one got it right but the insurance company wouldn't pay for any type of treatment other than pain management, so I have been taking different types of medication for a few years now for two bulging discs, degenerate disc disease, and sciatica. Early on I dealt with constipation from the dosage of morphine that I was prescribed, so for the past year I have been taking three 30 Mg of morphine sulfate ER, eight 10/325 Mg Norco, and eight 100 Mg of Gabapentin per day. I have a pain pump implanted about 1 1/2 months ago. Pain dr. is increasing Dilaudid 1mg/ml every two weeks. I am also taking Gabapentin 300 mg 2 times a day, 2 capsules each time. Are there side effects from taking the Dilaudid through pain pump and orally Gabapentin? I have had swelling in my feet, ankles and legs since the pain pump was implanted. ## Is your doctor aware of this swelling? I take Co-codamol for arthritis 30/500 and Gabapentin 300mg. Is it safe to also take a low dose of Tramadol as well? I also have gout. I started taking it for low back pain but found it to cause constipation ## Trigabantin contains the active ingredients Gabapentin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha Lipoic Acid and yes, it can cause some constipation as a side effect.
