I purchased diclofenac sodium & codeine phosphate tablets 50mg, but I cant find any images to identify it as such. It came in a foiled back pop out sleeve of 10. It's a light peach or pink color with a score on one side and nothing on the other. It also says Duranzo on it. My vision is not so good so i cant make out the pharmaceutical co. Can you help me please? ## Hello, Mini! How are you? This combination isn't available in the U.S., it is a foreign medication from India. Duranzo is listed as containing Diclofenac and Codeine, but since foreign medications aren't regulated like U.S. prescription drugs, there's no way to confirm that's what you've received. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit formin...

Is this for severe hip arthritis? Dr. 1 said I need immediate hip surgery. Dr 2 said arthritis, no immediate hip replacement needed. I am out of 50/50 codeine and diclofenaco. Diclofenaco is not working for the pain, even though the pain has reduced after 14 days post-injury. ## Hello, Diane! How are you? No, this medication contains a complex of B vitamins and a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, so it isn't likely to help much with severe pain. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Given that the 2 doctors you've consulted have disagreed, I think it would a good idea to consult a third, to break the tie, so to speak, but make sure to see a specialist. Is there anything els...

i live in mx and the doc gave me this med is it dangerous?im knd of fraked out cause hes always given me tylex cd and i heard the diclofenaco wasnt good, please help i had an operation n my back ## Lertus CD contains Codeine and Diclofenac, so it combines a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory with a narcotic pain reliever. The main concerns about it are the the Diclofenac can cause stomach irritation, which could lead to ulcers and long-term use could cause liver damage, but this only happens to a very small percentage of people that use it. Normal side effects include: nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and constipation. Learn more: Have you tried discussing your concerns with your doctor?

Is this codeine. My uncle gave me a couple. Says it's "like" perocet But I'm not easily convinced. Right now I'm suffering from a toothache and it's 11pm. I am about to take it regardless of whether I know that it's something for pain. Can you please verify that in the middle the small pill in the middle is codeine (?) And whether or not, I should take the whole 0397 pill (?) Or take the little pill in the middle or mix it with the little pill with 200mg of ibuprofen (?) Thanks a lot! ## This tablet is manufactured by Watson Laboratories and they list it as containing 50mgs of Diclofenac and 0.2mgs of Misoprostol, so it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Oxycontin 80 or 110mg is better than oxa forte or it's the same. ## Hello, Karl! How are you? Oxa Forte contains Diclofenac with Codeine, so it is actually much weaker than the Oxycodone in the Oxycontin. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Taken 50mg/day for 2 years with 20mg ameprozol. Last 2 months suffered the faintest tummy ache but it is persistent. Advised to take 40mg Ameprazol by one doctor and to replace with codeine by another. On either paracetamol or codeine after 4 days without diclofenac severe pain and joint stiffness returns. Seems life quality is dependent on Diclofenac so would it be safe to return to using it with the higher ameprozol dose? I've heard of one patient thing 60mg! ## Hello, Guess! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. It really depends on what's causing the stomach problem. If if you have gastritis, you'll need to take the Omeprazole for several months, in order for it to heal and you'll need to stay away from spicy foods, alcohol and the Dicl...

What is the different OXYCOTIN 80 MG O/C & OXA FORTE 50 MG. ## IS THE SAME EFECT BETWEN OXYCONTIN O/C 80 MG AND OXA FORTE 50 MG.? ## Oxycontin contains the opiate Oxycodone in a time released formulation, while Oxa Forte contains Codeine, and Diclofenac, so the latter couples an opiate with a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Both carry the risk of being habit forming, but the Codeine is much milder than the Oxycodone. They may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and constipation. Thus, while they are both opiates used to alleviate pain, they are not equivalent, because the Oxycontin is much stronger Is there anything else I can help with?
