i need a doctor who prescribes methadone in philadelphia ## It may help if you provide a little more information, such as why you need the doctor, if it is for pain management or addiction treatment. Not all doctors do both. Can you be more specific, since you remain anonymous on here? Methadone is very potent narcotic and can cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Im from mi recently moved to corbin ky. I have chronic pain due to nerve damage. My leg and foot goes numb for sometimes weeks at a time. My back often goes out on me and i cant move and my broken tailbone makes it hard for me to sit comfortably. Ive had mri and xrays ive been on 3 norco 10s for eight years so my tolerance to pain meds are high. If you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis for chronic pain, you'll have to see a pain management specialist, since a PCP will no longer be able to prescribe it for you. And the only thing you can really do is set up an appointment with a specialist, make sure they receive a full copy of your current medical records, then keep the appointment so you can discuss what they will or will not do to help you. My dr. Wants me to stop my 200mg trazadone taken nightly for depression anxiety and sleep. And start taking 15 mg temazepam at night. I live in Sioux Falls SD and I am trying to find a doctor that will prescribe pain meds. I had a pain management doctor that prescribed 4 10 mg hydrocodones a day, but moved to Nevada. Now I have moved back and she is full and can’t see me. I have arthritis, spinal stenosis, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disorder and a spinal fusion. My doctor keeps sending me in for epidurals for my lower back, and they sometimes work for two or three months, but it doesn’t help with the pain every where else. I work 10 hour days and barely make it through. Looking for pain clinic in Nashville area to go to. Clinic I go to now shut down last month and I got records to back me up, I take oxycodone 30mg 4x and oxymorphone 15mg er 3x...I need to find a clinic by first of month. I found one place but they do something called PPPFD monitoring, which I have no problem with pill counts. And I am cash pay no insurance, fighting disability, just had leg amputated, and will have other limb amputated once disability goes through...please help ## I hope you have found a place. I want to thank the DEA on behalf of millions of people who's had there doctor's prescribed prescriptions changed from a class III to a class II on Oct. 6th 2014. Hope the hell you don't find yourself in need of pain medicine in your coming years. I sure would like to know what your little secret is going to be to obtain pain relief when you need it. I have been on lortab 10 taking 3 per day, soma 3 per day. have been for 10 years for my back, neck, and knees. Had surger on all 3 areas. I am on medicare. If you can help I would ge grateful. my doctor passed away so that is why I am looking for a doctor. ## You'll most likely get more responses if you can post back with your general location. You don't need to be specific, but the closest large city would certainly help. Hi everyone I currently suffer from severe chronic pain. I have multiple conditions one of them being chronic renal colic. Another being degeneraong lower back I will be moving to Texas next month and need to find a pain management clinic that is compassionate, doesn't treat people like drug seekers when they truly need the help and a doctor who is not super conservative. I have been on large doses of opioid pain medicine for 8 years. My conditions require it for me to walk and do anything out of bed. Now they are stopping it. I'm not ready to lay down the last couple years of my life, I want to spend it standing. Opioids have been used over 4000 years and a very smart Indian rheumatologist told me they have killed less people than most of the man made pharmaceuticals. Im moving to DFW area. I have been a pain patient for 12 years for skull and facial nerve damag following reconstructive surgery, picture the movie Face Off i also have 2 bulging discs in my neck and from fibromyalgia and 2 knees that need replacement . In addition to the constant debilitating nerve pain over my entire face, i have chronic daily migraines. I am 65 and my ex husband has stopped paying spousal support. Ive been taking methadone since 2005 for chronic pain. Ive recently developed 2 other painful health conditions that cause great pain however my current doctor refuses to prescribe what ive been prescribed before. He will give me 90 pills a month sometimes 45 depends on his mood. Im not even getting adequate pain relief as i was being prescrbed 120 before. Had to change doctors cuz of insurance purposes. I dont know what to do. He also has let me walk around for the last 2 yrs with chronically torn liagaments in my right and left ankle.
