doctors who will prescribe pain medication kansas
I too am a chronic pain sufferer, I was in a bad car accident several years ago, all my limbs were broken at once and they used my hip to rebuild one of my feet. I have a GP that has been helping me but now feels she has been letting me use too many narcotics and has abrubtly cut me off. I'm interested in controlling the pain not using the pills but it feels like nobody really cares. Is there any doctors in the Kansas City area who believe in pain management with narcotics. I believe that if you don't understand the pain of the indivdual it's hard to understand why we ask these questions. I don't want to shop for a docotor that's not what I do but what are we suppose to do if they won't help us. ## Hello, JJ! How are you doing? I am very sorry about the problem t... ...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication montana
I live in Missoula, MT. I was at a pain clinic but got tired of the constant numbness I got from the MS contin I was prescribed, so I withdrew on my own. It was hell, I had been on them for 4 years. I somehow thought the pain would go away. It didn't. I have low back pain from two torn discs, stenosis, and a facet joint problem. My regular doc will give me meds from time to time when I wrench my back. But he is on sabattical and his partner will NOT even discuss my pain....I am so frustrated! Any suggestions on who I can see who may help me for the short term? ## Hello, Kinger33! How are you? Generally, Morphine is a bad idea for that type of pain, it can actually cause some inflammation of the joints, which can make back pain worse, while taking it. As to the doctor not prescribing... ...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication illinois
I have both chronic and acute headaches. I've taken everything. The only relief I ever get is through narcotics. No one will prescribe them so I've spent the last 10 years in bed, in the dark. I would really like to die because the pain is so bad. When it gets bad I'll go to the ER but they won't even help me. I also have a problem with my body making kidney stones. Please help. ## Hello, Rocky! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require narcotics on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. A PCP won't be able to prescribe them for you. Thus, you'll likely need to see a neurologist and a urologist. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to other doctors? If so, that would be the best w... ...

Doctors Who Will Prescribe Pain Medication in Boston
I have been suffering from a failed patella replacement for 12 years. Tramadol sometimes helps, but the risks for stroke are too high. I was being treated by a doctor in RI but he lost his license. Is there anyone in Boston area who can prescribe vicodin 10/325 legally? ## Well, any doctor can prescribe it legally. The main issues are just why its being prescribed, how much, for how long and etc. Learn more Vicodin details here. With the new regulations and issues on the east coast regarding doctors prescribing improperly and over prescribing, your best bet is going to be with a pain management specialist. Do you have a general practitioner that you see regularly who may be able to refer you somewhere? ## Risk for stroke? That's not an elevated risk with tramadol; no more than any o... ...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication mobile al
Anyone know a doctor that will prescribe pain medication in Mobile Alabama? Suffer from severe arthritis and neck and back problems. ## HI, Daisy! Sorry that you're in pain. Since you're in Alabama, the best suggestion I can make is that find yourself a regular, general practitioner and then discuss the issue with them, so they can refer you for pain management. Basically the area of the U.S. from Iowa, Arkansas and etc. over to the east have all been hit with a ton of new regulations for the prescribing of pain medications, due to the heavy rates of improper and over prescribing that were going on. Under these new regulations, general practitioners are restricted in what they are allowed to prescribe for pain and how long they can prescribe it, so most patients requiring strong... ...

I'm in chronic pain please help me. I have SEVERE arthritis, and have a 5 yr old back injury. ## I was also in a car accident, broke my teeth, suffered bruises and lacerations, had a painful hip replacement, another one on its way, and am living in chronic pain. I have been to my insurance, gone through the song and dance of getting a primary, who will not prescribe hydrocodone for the bilateral hip pain, or other residual pain. I am also undergoing the very painful reconstructive dental surgery to remove poorly placed implants that rub constantly up against my remaining infected implants causing me excruciating pain. This is chronic but I hope to be getting them removed. I am considering medical tourism since my insurance doesn't cover implants. They are considered cosmetic. I ... ...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication richmond va
I am looking for a compassionate doctor in the Richmond VA area who will prescribe pain medication. ## HI, BlueBell! How are you? The current situation isn't that doctors aren't compassionate, it's that there are strict regulations in place regarding what they can and cannot prescribe, how much they can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it and why they can prescribe it. It's really tied their hands in many cases. If you have a condition that requires strong pain medications for long-term treatment of chronic pain, then your best bet is most likely going to be to see a pain management specialist. lauderdale doctors who will prescribe pain medication
I need a Fort Lauderdale or Boca Raton Florida pain doctor. My doctor turned out to to be skirting the law and is currently under investigation. When he became tipped off of the investigation the doctor who for six years had been treating me out of the blue started a detox not only on me but also with his other pain patients. This occurred two weeks after my mom lossed her battle of (6) years from Alzheimer's. He never told me why this was occurring. I was so upset by loosing my best friend that I had let my guard down with this doctor. A non - doctor who owned both the doctors office and the pharmacy where I received my prescriptions fedex'ed to my home the next day after I had seen this doctor. I naively bought the pitch by the owner that having my medications dispensed thru his ...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication in rhode island
I am looking for an MD or Pain clinic that will prescribe pain medication in Rhode Island. I have 4 herniated discs, nerve damage in my leg, severe migraines. My former Md said that he could not longer prescribe due to the regulations, I dont want to have to move, that would be crazy to have to go through that, but I also do not want to continue living night and day in Agony, with not one Md that has any compassion, it seems all they care about is to look out for themselves, I only take 2 pain medications that I believe are both in class 1, but when you talk to a doctor about pain, they tell you to take tylenol. I am tired of theses doctors just caring about themselves, if you have a patient like myself, that has the MRI's and Catscans to show what my pain level is, they should be a... ...
