Florence SC, I am 56, have stage 3 -4 emphysema, I osteoarthritis, have been in some kind of pain since I was 5. I wore braces on my legs for years, had a hip replacement in 1997, 2. Back surgeries in 1999, the last one was a fusion. I use oxygen 24 hours a day. I was getting 90 hydrocodone 10/350 per month, but after having the shingles that effected the nerves in my brain (4th time with shingles in 8 months). I took additional medicibe to deal with the pain from the shingles. My doctor, sent me to a pain management doctor who was fired before my first visit. I have no one who will write my prescription now.
