need a doctor who prescribes oxycodone ## I'm sorry, but there is no central listing of doctors that will prescribe any given medication. And if you need such medications for long-term treatment of chronic pain, you'll most likely have to see a pain management specialist due to the new restrictions that have been put in place. There have been many concerns raised about improper prescribing and over prescribing, so there are new regulations put in place regarding what general practitioners and surgeon can prescribe, how much and for how long they can prescribe it. I Broke my arm on December 4th and was prescribed oxycodone. I only take it at night so I can sleep and deal with the pain during the day so I don't run out before the pain stops. I went to a clinic that is covered by my Low income insurance plan but the doctor refused to reissue my prescription. I don't use drugs and don't have an addictive personality. Help, Seeking new Doc in NJ (Middlesex/Monmouth County areas) I have been going to a pain mgmt. doctor who was giving me oxycontin ER 40mg twice a day and 10mg Percocet 4 times a day for breakthrough pain. As far as pet scribing anything, veterinarians do not accept Medicaid, if you are trying to get Roxycodone in your pet's name for you or for your pet and I don't know of any vet that would prescribe that anyway for a pet. If you need a Pain Management Doctor that accepts Medicaid and prescribes Roxycodone or Oxycodone you can try Alabama Pain Center but you have to go through a lot to get in there and through their classes and such and you won't get them right off. I have building disc and stenosis in my neck. Plus compression fracture upper back. Arthritis and scoliosis. With meds I am able to exercise and keep good muscle tone and exercise does wonders for my depression for I'm also bipolar. I want to oxygenate my blood, have cell renewel and stay healthy. Without any of the oxycodone 20mg it takes 2to 3 days to mow the law, more time is spent laying on heat pad, upset stomach and pale because pain is so bad. My husband has a bad back (bull stepped on him in high school) he's 37 now, and needs surgery. We cannot do that right now, so he's been on oxycodone 30mg, but we've moved 16 hours away from old dr. There are strict guidelines they must follow regarding the prescribing of any controlled substances, if they prescribe improperly, they risk losing their license to practice medicine. My doctor just suddenly passed away and has left all of his patients with no way to get their prescriptions. It was a private practice with no other doctors working with him, just a NP to assist.
