looking for Dr who will continue my current regimine without fear. 3 mg a day 1x3 xanax and 90mg a day methadone or equivalent Oxy codone been for 10 years same dose and am moving to Ocala area . my primary moved to the west coast of florida and my pharmacy will not fill it because he is in another county. they say it is up to the pharmacist wheter they will fill it or not! i have been a customer of theirs for over 4 years and this is how i am treated. they will his other scripts but not these unless they are from indian river county. if anyone knows of a doctor who accepts medi pass and will write this script please let me know!!! ## so what happened to the advertisments of the pharmacies that say, we will fill your rx no matter where you are. my parents used to be snow birds, in a better economy, and they had wallgreen's that filled my mothers multiple rx's from pa in fl. so not filling your rx because the dr is in a different county I find discriminating. where I live...

I have a rare kind of polyneuropathy that affects my long nerves. I have had severe chronic pain for over 8 years. My pain doctor in Florida switched me from oxycontin to methadone because the oxycodone made it difficult to sleep. I recently moved to Mass. and so far the two doctors I've been to eliminated my breakthrough meds (oxycodone 30 mg. 4 times a day) and decreased my methadone from 140 mg a day (taken evenly in 10 mg a day) to 70 mg a day (10 mg. tabs throughout the day) and I am back to excruciating pain. I cannot work, eat a healthy diet, sleep, take care of my family, etc. Why don't any of these doctors realize that although there are risks related to taking opiates, that QUALITY of life is what is important to me? Hey you.... Unsure if you are able to help me but I am looking for a Dr in Palm Beach County who will prescribe both medications... They are 10mg Methadone and 30mg Oxycodone. Even better if they happen to take United Health Ins. Now that the DEA and pharmacies have started making up there own rules on who and where you go, I am no longer able to go north or south....
