Mi Doctors Who Prescribe Methadone For Pain
My mother was prescribed methadone for her Neuropathy while living in Florida. Since then she has moved back to Michigan by necessity. She left her job to move to Georgia with her husband who was a military vet. He got OxyContin from the V.A. Hospital in Atlanta for his back issues. With her having no insurance he used to share with her. Now he's dead and we moved her back here to Michigan. She still has no insurance except Medicare A&B. she's almost out of meds and the pain she will experience is excruciating. The docs she has seen here all want her to jump thru hoops to make sure she's not a drug addict. How can we get her the meds she needs without spending her ssi check all on doctors who give her no help? ## @Anthony, Sorry to hear about your mom's situation. If... ...

Doctors Who Prescribe Methadone Maintenance
Anyone know of private practice doc So. Florida prescribe methadone maintenance? Thanks, {edited for privacy} ## No, regular doctors are not allowed to prescribe Methadone for any type of addiction treatment, including maintenance therapy. For such usage, it can only be given in a clinical setting by someone that is specially trained to provide such treatment with it. Do you have a clinic that you have been using? If anyone is curious, you can discover more Methadone details here. ## I WANT PRIvate methadone doctor so i don't have to go ever very day i'm in a lot of pain because i just came from afganistan and lost my legs can some one please help me from and old grunt whooooraaa simper fi !!!!!!!!! ## Dr Milne of Ft. doctors who prescribe oxycodone in florida
looking for Dr who will continue my current regimine without fear. 3 mg a day 1x3 xanax and 90mg a day methadone or equivalent Oxy codone been for 10 years same dose and am moving to Ocala area . Never had issues just pain chronic with Psoriatic Arthritis . cancer and back nerve damage . Please help/// ## Hello, Billy! How are you doing? You're really not going to find a doctor to just prescribe them and not worry about it. That's just not possible, anymore. They are held responsible for their prescribing practices, now. The best thing to do would be to set up an appointment with a PCP in your new area and then have them refer you to someone for pain management. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, ... ...

Doctors in Louisiana that prescribe methadone for chronic pain
I have been taking 120 mg of methadone for approximately 5 years. My husbands job transferred us from Florida to Louisiana where I found a pretty good pain doc. He is now running scared and wants to take me off of methadone. Methadone has given me a good quality of life; I am able to work and be a productive member of society. My doctor is unwilling or unable to assist me in finding a new doctor who will continue my meds. Oh yeah, I have been the route of blocks and injections and gotten little if any relief. I'm tired of being branded a drug seeker-I have years of medical records that back up my claims and verify the dosages that I've been on-what drug seekers have this kind of back up? I am looking for a Louisiana doctor, but am willing to travel (within reason of course). Ple... ...

Ive been on methadone for 7 years. I was on 90mg a day. I tapperd down to 40mgs. Then went to a doctor who gave me Buprenorphin subutex. It's not doing me any good at ALL!!! I don't want to go back to a clinic can u please find me a private doctor who percribes methadone in Florida within a distance between 1 to 30 miles of my zip code 33467. ## Hello, Chris! How are you? I'm sorry, but due to the current laws, a clinic is your only option. Private doctors are not allowed to prescribe Methadone for addiction/maintenance treatment and since that is what it is noted now in your medical records, you'll have to return to a clinic. I understand that they are expensive and inconvenient, but this is the way things stand, right now. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Need doctor who will prescribe methodone for chronic severe pain.
I have a rare kind of polyneuropathy that affects my long nerves. I have had severe chronic pain for over 8 years. My pain doctor in Florida switched me from oxycontin to methadone because the oxycodone made it difficult to sleep. I recently moved to Mass. and so far the two doctors I've been to eliminated my breakthrough meds (oxycodone 30 mg. 4 times a day) and decreased my methadone from 140 mg a day (taken evenly in 10 mg a day) to 70 mg a day (10 mg. tabs throughout the day) and I am back to excruciating pain. I cannot work, eat a healthy diet, sleep, take care of my family, etc. Why don't any of these doctors realize that although there are risks related to taking opiates, that QUALITY of life is what is important to me? Do you know of any doctors in Mass. (Lowell area) th... ...
