doctors who can prescribe methadone for pain management in colorado
I've been on methadone for almost 13 yrs due to a car accident when I was a teenager that left me disabled and with chronic pain. My current Dr. Received a letter from the Medical Board ( which he let me see) explaining that in order to keep prescribing methadone that he will need to get a license that will allow him too continue to perscribe this. My dr said it's became a huge hassle and that because of other patients "dr shopping" he just can't do it anymore. I've been with him for over 6 yrs! He was nice enough to give me a supply to last me a few months to give me time to find a Dr that will help me. My dr now said if by chance I'm still haveing trouble at the end of three months, he will keep helping me but he's not sure for how much longer. I'm ... ...

Any docs in Montana who prescribe methadone ?
We are sick of Las Vegas and are desperate to move. Does anyone know a state or doctor where there is snow and mountains and doctors who prescribe methadone ( an opiate not opioid ) for chronic pain. I'm 63, not in the addiction category, nor the selling my scripts category....just getting old. My 87 yr old mother was thrown out of her wheelchair down some outside cement steps face first & I put my body between her & the pavement knocking all the curves out of my spine. Interested in Montana since Colorado refuses narcotic treatment. ## Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist if you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit... ...

Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado
I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If... ...

find a doctor that prescribes methadone in coloado
I'm currently on methadone for my rheumatoid arthritis in both knees. I dive 140 miles each day from Wyoming (will not prescribe methadone) to a clinic in Colorado. I would so appreciate a listing of physicians in Colorado who will prescribe this life saving pain medication! Thank you soo much! ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current laws, a clinic is your only option. Regular doctors are not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment and since you've been going to a clinic, even if it was just for pain, that's what is in your medical records, so no regular doctor will be able to prescribe it for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mo... ...
