looking for a cash only doctor or clinic in dallas texas that prescribes loracets or loratabs ## Almost all doctors and clinics will accept cash for their services if someone doesn't have insurance, or would rather pay that way, than use their insurance. It does not, however, make the transaction untraceable. Your information and the information on whatever narcotic is prescribed, if any, would still be completely logged and reported by the doctor/clinic, as well as by the pharmacy where you had it filled. The only thing that would be avoided by doing it cash only, would be having your insurance company know what you're taking. Does anyone know of any such places in the area? ## Did you ever find the cash only doctor? I am just curious, looking for the same actually. I have insu...

Im looking for a dr in dallas ftworth that will prescribe vicodin or methadone for chronic pain ## I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP? If so, having them refer you would likely be the easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? ## Me too!! If you have suggestions let me know. Thanks! ## did you find a doc ## I don't give out names on this site for obvious reasons, but there are numerous pain specialists in the DFW area. Get with your ins company...

Looking for a doctor who Prescribes soma in DFW area, preferably Garland or Plano or Richardson. I’ve been on soma for eight years through my PCP but unfortunately the practice he belongs to has closed down. I went to pain management doctor today and the charges are $500 a visit and does not prescribe some. I can’t take any other muscle relaxers. ## I really feel Texas is limiting the rights of their citizens, and Abbott doesn't care. Trying to set the law of the land with that Abortion Pill, and now wont even let doctors prescribe Soma. With all the horrible murders in the DFW area, and all the recent murders in the state, have you thought of moving to a new place like Arizona, or California? I have yet to have a doctor say no out here ## My PCP had no issues prescribin...

Looking for a physician that can prescribe methadone for pain ## Looking for a physician in Dallas or Ft Worth that will prescribe vicodin to a patient with severe herniations throughout the spinal cord. ## I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. You also can't ask a doctor for a specific medication, because they will view that as drug seeking behavior. If you require one or more of these narcotics on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? That would most likely be the easiest way of getting the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? ## ...

I just moved to the Dallas area. I have congenital disc degeneration disorder. I suffer from muscle spasms and neuropathy. The only thing that truly helps me with my pain is valuim or Xanax. Does anybody know a doctor in Dallas that will help me with a prescription of this medication? I do have an MRI but it's in Oklahoma City. I am low income so it has to be affordable. ## Xanax and Valium and the like are not traditional pain meds although some Doctors will prescribe it. If you are low income I'm sure you should be participating in the ACA? ## I prefer opiates but they are very difficult to get nowadays. I have taken Valium over the years and it seems to help is fine. Xanax also works well but the half life is terrible. I don't really want to get back on opiates I was addi...

I've been on 150mcg fentanyl patches for the past 9 yrs and my doc in west tx just cut me off without reason or warning. Haven't been able to find ANY DR to prescribe fentanyl so I'm wanting to try subutex (not suboxone - due to terrible side effects). PLEASE HELP. IN CHRONIC PAIN DUE TO MANY SPINAL SURGERIES. ## Hello, Gumdrop! How are you? Part of your problem might be due to looking for a doctor to prescribe Fentanyl, rather than just looking for a new doctor. If you're contacting doctors and asking if they'll prescribe any specific medication, they'll usually just see that as drug seeking behavior and tell you no. And if you require a medication like this for long-term chronic pain, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist, since the ne...

My Dr has moved. I am now without a Dr for my patches...I only have 4 left. Two Drs I went to do not prescribe. Please help. Thank you... ## Hello, Jeri! How are you? If you require such a strong narcotic for pain management, you'll need to see a pain management specialist and if you're going to doctors and just asking if they'll prescribe it, they'll usually see that as being drug seeking behavior and just tell you no. You need to see a new doctor and basically let your medical records speak for you. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I went to a pain Dr. She was the worst Dr I have ever...

I suffer from alot of pain, it is almost dibiltating. But by looking at me I look pretty normal, doctors judge this and assume that the pain is not so bad. Well it is. I need a Dr. in the Dallas area who will listena and look at my medical records so that I can get some relief. Any advice?? Johnnie ## Have you considered pain management? The doctors in those types of facilities are much better trained and experienced with the causes of pain, how bad it can be and are much more adept at providing proper treatment. There are several facilities in the Dallas area, though we have no way of knowing what insurance they accept, if any, or what they may or may not prescribe. Have you found a new doctor, yet? Due to the new regulations that were enacted this year, if you require such a medication on a long-term basis for chronic pain, you'll likely need to see a pain management specialist.
