I live in okc, plz anything will help. ## Hello, Stella! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Additionally, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll most likely need to see 2 different specialists for such medications, one for the pain and the other for the issue requiring Xanax. Why are you no longer seeing your old doctor? ## Tulsa or Muskogee pain management drs...I've had Two neck surgeries among other health issues and moving back home. I have been in Pain management since 2004 in California and just Moved out there to muskogee Oklahoma... unfortunately there are NO doctors here willing to treat my pain i was on a regiment of 80mg Oxycontin 2X daily 10/325mg Norcos every 4 hours and 4mg IV dilaudid as needed for breakthrough pain... i am in search of a doctor out this way who is actualluy willing to perscribe these meds... thanks ## Well, the first question I have is, how are you checking with the doctors about getting help? The reason I am asking is because if you're calling various doctor's offices and asking if they'll treat you and prescribe specific medications, then you will pretty much always get told no. When someone does that, doctor's and their staff are taught to see it as drug seeking behavi...

Was in a car accident with back and neck injuries. Have been given hydrocodone that doesn't touch the pain. I live in Arkansas and heard oklahoma pain clinics understand and are more compassionate. Can anyone help me and tell me what clinics I can go to to get oxicotin??? I am desperately seeking help. The Dr. I had seen before for pain is no longer in business. ## Most will not prescribe for out of state patients, and most pharmacies will not fill, unless the doctor and patient are located in the same state. It is also never a good idea to seek out one specific medication, since most doctors will see that as being drug seeking behavior. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mou...

I need a pain managememt clinic in okc that i could go to that perscribes medication instead of shots ## Hello, Terry! How are you? Sorry about the pain that you're in. However, there is no database that I can refer to for you that lists doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe or treat with. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, that would most likely be the fastest and easiest way to find the help you need. ## Hi I am also looking for an okc dr. I would be sooo thankful if you know of one. Why do pain doctors have the right to judge you because you have pain? My goodness, it's on my MRI. What's wrong? I'm not lying about my pain. The problem with Norco is that they prescribed them to people who most certainly didn't need them, so those of us who really do need them have to suffer. These doctors need to be investigated, not me. Money and egos impaired their judgement. No more Marcus welbys that really care. Understand that innocent people are the ones who have to pay the price for these doctors' poor judgement. My advice is go under cover. You'll catch them. Especially Hillcrest pain doctors in Tulsa Oklahoma. They all go to the same country club I bet. I'm just saying somethings up. ## For me it's been tuff finding a pain doctor that always...

I just moved to the Dallas area. I have congenital disc degeneration disorder. I suffer from muscle spasms and neuropathy. The only thing that truly helps me with my pain is valuim or Xanax. Does anybody know a doctor in Dallas that will help me with a prescription of this medication? I do have an MRI but it's in Oklahoma City. I am low income so it has to be affordable. ## Xanax and Valium and the like are not traditional pain meds although some Doctors will prescribe it. If you are low income I'm sure you should be participating in the ACA? ## I prefer opiates but they are very difficult to get nowadays. I have taken Valium over the years and it seems to help is fine. Xanax also works well but the half life is terrible. I don't really want to get back on opiates I was addi...

need valium 10mg perscription for wife need opana 40mg prescription fof self ## Hello, James! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year by the DEA, you'll both need to see specialists to have such medications prescribed on a long-term ongoing basis, which likely means a psychiatrist for your wife and a pain management specialist for you. The FDA lists both these medications as having the potential to be habit forming and they may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and drowsiness. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend good doctors in that area?

My GP recently stopped prescribing me Soma after many years of successful treatment with no other changes in medications. I go to a pain specialist for long term injury and they do not prescribe soma. I've heard that the best bet for getting back to my previous treatment plan may be to find a new GP who would prescribe soma. Does anyone have any idea of how to find this out about the specific doctors or know of any in the Tulsa, OK area who do? Please let me know, I cannot take all of the other muscle relaxants I've been prescribed to try. ## Soma is and does many things but rest assured it does not provide "successful treatment" of any part of the body. That is why it is being slowly phased out ## I'm looking for a doctor who prescribes soma in Tulsa, OK. I have bee...

Doctors who prescribe methDone in muskogee ## Hello, Smitty! How are you? If you require it for addiction/maintenance treatment, a clinic is your only option. It is against the law for a regular doctor to prescribe it for that. If you require it for pain, then due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
