I HAD CANCER IN AUGUST 2004; REMOVED UPPER RIGHT LUNG 1/3; HAVE HAD PAIN EVER SINCE. MY NERVES GREW INTO MY MUSCLE. I HURT VERY MUCH. I HAVE BEEN ON NORCO FOR ELEVEN YEARS. ALSO TAKE KLONOPINS FOR ANXIETY. SOMETIMES I THINK I CANT BREATH AND HAVE AN ATTACK. I TAKE ZOLOFT FOR DEPRESSION. MY ONLY CHILD WAS SHOT AND DIED IN 2005. I worked in physical therapy for 25 years and had to give it up in 2009. My house burned down in 2009; lost every thing. One of my sisters had a heart attack and it took them 30 mins to get her back. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it, but due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis for the management of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Im an alcoholic. I can't seem to get a prescription for naltrexone (I've been finding it on the internet, very expensive but worth the money, it has saved my life). I have a herniated disc in my back along with severe carpal tunnel in both hands. I just moved here from san Diego and need to find a Dr that will prescribe me something. I'm not looking for anything crazy just something like vicodin that will take the edge off when it gets severe.
