Hello. I was wondering if Coreg could affect my O2 levels? It just seemed that a few weeks after starting this medication my O2 level dropped to 85. I am now on O2 24/7, but all tests and imagery come back good, never smoke and my doctors do not agree on a diagnosis, maybe COPD but won't confirm. So I thought I would see if there was any connection since I passed all my tests including a stress test just before taking this medication for afib. Florence SC, I am 56, have stage 3 -4 emphysema, I osteoarthritis, have been in some kind of pain since I was 5. I wore braces on my legs for years, had a hip replacement in 1997, 2. Back surgeries in 1999, the last one was a fusion. I use oxygen 24 hours a day. I was getting 90 hydrocodone 10/350 per month, but after having the shingles that effected the nerves in my brain (4th time with shingles in 8 months). I took additional medicibe to deal with the pain from the shingles. My doctor, sent me to a pain management doctor who was fired before my first visit. I have no one who will write my prescription now. I have building disc and stenosis in my neck. Plus compression fracture upper back. Arthritis and scoliosis. With meds I am able to exercise and keep good muscle tone and exercise does wonders for my depression for I'm also bipolar. I want to oxygenate my blood, have cell renewel and stay healthy. Without any of the oxycodone 20mg it takes 2to 3 days to mow the law, more time is spent laying on heat pad, upset stomach and pale because pain is so bad. I had a nasal turbinate reduction surgery two weeks ago. After that, I developed shortness of breath and found blood oxygen level fluctuating between 81-98 per oximeter. Whenever it hit below 90, I wake up from the sleep at night. I have been taking blood pressure medicine Benecar 20mg/ Amlodipine 5mg/ Hydroclorot 12.5mg for years. I also took Cephalexin 500mg two times a day for 8 days after the surgery. Any clue on why this is happening ? ## Have you ever had a sleep study done? You might be experiencing sleep apnea. I'm on oxygen 24 hours. My doctor has suggested me 40mg dosage thrice a day as my lungs have shrunk and he believes that by this it will get open and my lungs will get their required oxygen. I'm also taking deriphyllin retard 300 and montair lc with that. ## This medication does carry the risk of causing side effects, according to U.S. FDA reports, which may include nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, weight changes, insomnia, nervousness, and fluid retention. My wife aged 75 years is on oxygen therapy 24x7 because of Interstial lung disease.Now she has had an attack of Bells Palsy (Facial Paralysis).Doctor has recommended the injection of 1 ml twice a week. Is the dose sufficient for the facial palsy?Can she be cured with this medicine?

I have been on Ranexa for two days. Today while sitting at my computer I had a dizzy spell. I have no angina. My doctor is giving me Ranexa to increase my use of oxygen. I also have an anxious feeling (the only way I can describe it) and what seems to be a flutter of my heart. I was wondering what the difference is between hydro and oxo codone? Is it the way the pill is made or extracted from the plant, Hydro is by water and Oxy is by oxygen??? I seem to think the oxycodone is stronger and almost all doctors and health care say it is more addicting than hydrocodone, why is this??? With my insurance this drug will cost me $150. I am currently on 16 pharmacy meds to include 2 nebulizer meds, an inhaler, oxygen at 3.5 constantly, morphine pain pump (broke my back) have never smoked although both parents, two husbands and I worked for the Army for 34 years around smokers. I have read so many good things about Daliresp. My doctor gave me a two week supply to see if I could tolerate the side effects if I had them. I have had some stomach issues and sleeplessness for the 10 days i have taken them. I am determined to make this work! I should have waited to try this new drug. I am booked for a cruise in 10 days. If I sleep without taking a drug with soporific effect, I have electic like current beam rising from just under the back of neck as if the death approached all of a sudden. I take 24 mg subutux, I was told to stop taking it 2 days prior to surgery an was prescribed 10 mg oxycodone 4 times a day for withdrawel. I has surugery yesterday and was told to double the oxygen and take 20 mg every 4 hours. l I can not sleep I am in withdrawel and in agony. ## Did you contact your doctor? The Buprenorphine in Subutex is a very strong narcotic opiate, so you might not be on a high enough dosage of the Oxycodone to actually help. I can understand their not wanting you to take it for surgery, but did they say why they didn't want you going back on it afterwards? It can handle pain and would have avoided these types of problems. ## I feel awful for you have you told them yet...if so go to the er!

I am Asthmatic with Pulmonary Fibriosis. Suffered pneumonia where my lungs collapsed. I recovered after 5 days of indused coma.
