I'm on here looking for a solid doctor from people that have had a good experience, as my PCP keeps telling me to go see a pain management doctor. I'm looking for a doctor that still prescribes 30mg oxycodone with no problems. I have 5 years of medical records and continued proof of taking oxycodone but can only get 15mg which isn't enough to make my pain go away. Please help me asap! I dont have insurance so i cant afford the expensive pain management clinics here. I am a 45 yr old female who has chronic pain. 18 yrs ago I was an addict ans was on methadone treatment for 7 yrs in seattle. I moved to Idaho and detoxed off my program for 3+yrs. I had back surgery and was prescribed meds that unfortunatly gave me some physical addiction. I asked my family doc for methadone for pain and explained my past. He prescribed to me for 2 yrs and refered me to a pain clinic due to pain issues and the pain doc discontinued my methadone and used dillaudid. 25 years ago had car accident that was bad right arm was amputated I'm from pa but moving to pendelton cause husband got new job how do I find a doctor that will give me same pain meds as I have been on all these years I take hydrocodone 10 mill and soma for back spasam 350 mill ## A new dr may or may not keep you on the same meds as your previous dr. You will need a copy of your medical records proving that there is a reason. But, there are no guarantees. Many drs have stopped prescribing Soma, especially with certain pain meds due to OD's and ER visits that involve these meds.

My pain management Doctor is retiring. He has been my pain doc and also my doc for everything else. I am down to 3 10mg tablets of methadone 3xday, 1 quick release morphine 30mg. Also take thyroid meds and two different meds for high blood pressure and time release Effexor for depression. I need to find new doctor or pain clinic. I currently live in Seattle. ## If you live in WA and have a WA identification, then a doctor in Oregon isn't going to be able to prescribe you a controlled substance, either. The same laws have been put in effect throughout the U.S., not just in WA.
