I have had 4 back surgeries, 1 neck surgery, 1 rt knee surgery, and 1 rt shoulder surgery. I've been on many pain meds but now what works for me is 10/325 norco. I dont want anything stronger. I'm sure im addicted but cant function; without them i need that little relief to maintain my sanity. I have been labeled a druggie. What is really going on here when we put animals in pain to sleep and let humans suffer? Just saying. ## Who labeled you a druggie and why? What type of doctor have you been seeing? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Does anyone no of a good Dr. And pain clinic near thomasville ga. 31792 Or valdosta .ga. or Albany .ga. or Ta...

Have severe nerve pain.. been to 4 doctors. Not one will prescribe a pain med. I cannot take Lyrica, Gabapentin, Cymbalta or Amitriptyline. Dangerous side effects. Can anyone help me find a dr.-- I will go anywhere in Ga. or South Carolina that will help me. Pain clinics offer message, hydrotherapy and other things. I need the meds or a patch. ## I'm not sure what part of GA you are in but there are several great pain management doctors in Savannah. I don't want to post any of their names on a public forum because it unfortunately leads to their office being flooded. I'm a recovering opiate addict needing to find a physician in Valdosta Georgia who will prescribe me methadone or subutex. I've been on methadone for a year, at 145 mg, and am waiting on my disability. I need somewhere I can go once a month. I have good drug panels and I'm compliant, but I need help. ## Unless you are pregnant, or have some other medical reason, such as an allergy, that doesn't prevent you from taking Suboxone, most doctor's will require you to take it, rather than Subutex. You can use the search link on the site below to find a doctor in your area that treats with it. I was recently released by pain clinic and need to find another doctor soon. Are there any doctors in Northeast Ga that will see me and prescribe pain meds for chronic pain or do I have to go to pain clinic?? Any suggestions for a doctor that will prescribe meds that actually work without constant drama? ## Hello, Tonya! How are you? Due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year, most private practice doctors will no longer prescribe pain medications, except in special circumstances, such as for someone that is suffering intractable pain from a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer. Thus, you'll have to stick with a pain management specialist. Why did they release you? That might have an effect on being able to get another to accept you as a patient. Do...

Need a doctor that takes Georgia Medicaid in N.W. Georgia who's not afraid to prescribe oxycodone for a disabled older man with 3 herniated disks in my back. ## Hello, Johnny! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. If you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were enacted last year. Those regulations also mean that all doctors may be very cautious about what they prescribe and why they prescribe it, or they risk losing their license to practice medicine, as well as possible fines and jail time. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do...

I would like to find a Dr to prescribe naltrexone to help reverse the damage ! It sounds wonderful ! ## Hello, J M! How are you? To help reverse the damage from what? Naltrexone is classified by the FDA as an opioid agonist, so it can help treat drug addiction and alcohol dependence, but it doesn't cure or reverse the damage of anything. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and abdominal cramping.

All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but most usu...

Hi. I have been going through a war now for years trying to manage my pain from my ruptured and bulging disk in my lower back. For years I just dealt with the pain. But about three years ago I was forced into a point that I had to work so I started going to a pain clinic in TN and after a year I moved to Florida for my husband to get treatment for cancer. When I moved I had enough of my meds for the month but I couldn't find a doctor to see me in time and ran out. I started with withdrawls and every doctor I saw down there didn't believe I was in pain. So I had no choice but to go to methadone for the withdrawls. Now two years later I'm trying to get off it and get back to a pain clinic. I've been going through withdrawal for 3 weeks and recently started getting migraine...

Please only answer if you have experience or real knowledge. I don't need anyone to advise me to not do it or anything like that. ## Hello, Wizzle! How are you? And, if you do that, then yes, they will all find out about it, it will also be reported to the government. Whether you pay cash or not, both the doctors ...
