I'm 28 and was taken off welbutrin and buspirone and put on viibryd 40mg I was not dosed up BC I was already on the others. I have hard horrible headaches, more anxiety, muscle pain, sleeplessness, more frequent bowel movements (which I am greatful for), cravings for sweets and have gained 5lbs over the past two weeks :( I don't know what else to do the old meds only helped me concentrate. But did little to nothing for my anxiety and depression. ## Hi, Ashely! Sorry about the problems you're having. Side effects such as this may be experienced any time you start a new medication, or increase the dosage of an existing one. They can last for about 4 to 6 weeks, then they will usually start to taper off as your body has a chance to adjust. However, if the headaches are that sev...

I have been on Contrave for over four months and I have lost 35 lbs., so far. Occasionally I get very bad headaches which Advil or Tylenol just won't help. Can I take 1/2 of a vicodin to see if that might help, or is that dangerous? ## Hello, Pat! How are you? One of the active ingredients in Contrave, as listed by the FDA, is Naltrexone and it's other use is as an opiate blocker, so the Vicodin will have no effect. It would be best to consult your doctor about what you can take for the headaches that will work. The FDA lists the other side effects of Contrave as possibly including nausea, insomnia, nervousness and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Don't take any Vicodin with it!! I hadn't been told about the huge contraindication between the two meds ...

Second night I got a really bad headache, it could have been from sugar withdrawal. Headache lasted through day three. I did not take contravene on day three, scared of another headache. My question is will headaches get better/worse? Should I give it another go? ## It seems like my headaches got less severe and less frequent after a few weeks. I recently stopped taking it bc I didn't think it was really helping that much but it was lol. I figured that out after I stopped it. So I'm on day 2 again now and I'm having really bad headaches again too. I feel your pain! ## According to NIH.gov, you should talk with your doctor if you experience headaches while taking naltrexone or bupropion (the two active ingredients in Contrave). I haven't taken another pill and was wondering if I should or not. ## I have never heard of Belviq and don't know what it's taken for. I just want to reply to this post because it worries me. Massive headache, and vomiting? That can be a sign of a brain aneurism. Perhaps rare, but can be deadly. I would get that checked out. ## Hi Lou - that's a bummer, sorry to hear about your experience. It definitely sounds like you are among those adversely affected by thi...

I'd been having headaches for a month they tended to start in my nose and then above my eyebrows before turning into a proper headache so went to the doctors and they thought I had a sinus issue, I've been on them for 7 days finish my course tonight. However I've had two days, one today and one the day before yesterday where I've had bad headaches but the symptoms of sinus infections have gone,is this due to the antibiotics or another issue? Should I go back? I'm also on the pill so could it be that? ## Hello, Gee! How are you doing? Has there been any change? It's actually hard to say, the headaches can be a side effect of taking the antibiotic, as reported by the FDA, they can also be a symptom of a sinus infection, or it could be something entirely unrelated to...

Can you take Adipex with methadone? Do the blockers in methadone block the effects of Adipex? ## Methadone is simply Methadone, there are no blockers, or anything else in it. Adipex contains the active ingredient Phentermine, it is used to aid in weight loss and you should not take it, without your doctor's approval. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia and anorexia. Can l take two betaprofen tablets for severe chest inflammation pain?. I can not sleep because the pain is too much. ## Hello, Hamma! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. It depends on what's causing the chest pain. Betaprofen contains the active ingredient Ibuprofen, which so classifies as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and if you have high blood pressure or a cardiac condition, it may not be safe for you to take it, since it can cause fluid retention and elevated blood pressure. The FDA lists its other possible side effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache and increased risk of bleeding. Have you consulted your doctor? I have been on Pristiq for two years 50mg, but have spent the past month in bed with nausea, fatigue, headache, body/joint aches/pain. I've had blood checked, etc. no problems. Decided to see if this one med that I take, that has helped in the past, is now making me sick. I can't find any good info on long-term problems online. I am on Day 30 of Efudex treatment on the top of my nose and a small area on my chest. I stopped the cream on Day 28 as the skin was starting to erode. I've had headaches the past two weeks that won't go away with ibuprofen, Goody's headache powders, tylenol... nothing. It's caused me to generally feel like crap. Anyone else have these headaches? ## Headaches are a possible side effect of Effudex, according to FDA reports, other side effects may include skin burning, dizziness, chills, and nasal irritation. How long has it been since you stopped using it, now? Has there been any change?
