I have to say I've been taking Krill Oil for a while now and I'm really impressed on how it's making me feel. I'm not a big vitamin and supplement guy, but I may just keep on taking this for awhile. Not sure about all the brands, I'm sure some are good, some not, but the one I've been using is Nature's DNA on Amazon.

im getting some kind of a blood test at work and what im sure about that they only take 1 drop of blood and i heard its a DNA test , so i have 2 questions 1. if it was a DNA test will Lyrica show ? 2. is 1 drop of blood enough to test for Lyrica? plz i need an answer , and thank u in advance . ## Why would your employer be doing a DNA check? That doesn't really make a lot of sense, since that checks your heredity, and etc. Do you know any other details about it? And no, Lyrica is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat some types of nerve pain, and mood disorders, so it would not be detected on such a sample. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, mood changes, dizziness, and weight changes. ## why would they ask for it im not sure , and ...

Just a little concerned about our unborn babies DNA. We used a donor eggs to conceive by ART about 5months ago. Glad to announce that we are expecting triplets in summer by God’s grace. My question is are these precious gifts of ours gonna have my DNA or the donors. Either way it doesn’t matter, we are just a little curious at least I am their birth mother in record. Please enlighten us thank you. ## If they are not your eggs, they will not carry your DNA. However, if they were fertilized with your partner's sperm, they will carry his, according to NIH studies. You are carrying them for 9 months, so they will carry some of your DNA, just not as much as a child that has been naturally conceived. It really doesn't matter, though, does it? I mean they will be your child...

Doing a lab for highschool about recombinant DNA, learning about taking the insulin gene from human DNA and inserting it into bacteria plasmids to mass-produce insulin. The plasmid had a gene for antibiotic resistance, there were three different types of antibiotics listed and the plasmid we were working with was resistant to one starting with a k, but I can't find it's name. ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? Was it possibly Keflex? It's a name brand for the antibiotic Cephalexin. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allerigc skin rash and diarrhea. ## Yes, thank you so much! That was one of the three.

I have disc disease and nerve damage with cancer. I have DNA paper analysis saying that my body is totally ok with 30mil oxycodone. in major pain ## Hello, Star Monroe! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Technically, any doctor can prescribe it for pain, however, due to the regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis. Do you have a PCP that could refer you to someone? That would be the fast and easy way to get the help you need. Does anyone know of good doctors in that area? ## Meds Chat Discussion Hi, I am new here to Colorado Springs and have a s...
