Benylin is a brand name owned by Johnson & Johnson for a range of cough, cold and flu medications. Some Benylin products also contain codeine, which is used to treat pain, cough and diarrhea. The flagship cough syrup and cold care brand is marketed in several countries as Benylin DM, for its active ingredient, dextromethorphan. What can replace Novahistine DMX cough syrup? Nothing helps now since they discontinued this syrup years ago. Taking them individually also doesn't work. DMX helped within 5 minutes. ## When you took them individually, were they in tablet/capsule form, or liquids? Since a cough syrup is liquid, it is normal for it to work fairly fast, but tablets, and capsules tend to take a bit longer to take affect. I just want to know if these pills are dmx or what ## Based on my research, I am finding that there are certain counterfeit green triangle pills in the USA & UK being sold as "E" that actually contain a substance known as DXM (Dextromethorphan). If this is the case, most people who've tried them by mistake (thinking they were "E"), strongly recommend staying away from it since the side effects are reported to be harsh on the liver and other body functions. However, at the same time I'm not finding anything listed with a marking of "Fe"; just the green triangle-shaped pill... Could this even be something else you got from overseas by chance?
