Sulfonated Shale Oil Ichthammol

Shale oil is an unconventional oil produced from oil shale rock fragments by pyrolysis, hydrogenation, or thermal dissolution. These processes convert the organic matter within the rock (kerogen) into synthetic oil and gas. The resulting oil can be used immediately as a fuel or upgraded to meet refinery feedstock specifications by adding hydrogen and removing impurities such as sulfur and nitrogen. The refined products can be used for the same purposes as those derived from crude oil. The te...

Pseudoephedrine is a BCS class 3 compound. What is needed to get a biowaiver for an EU country (FDA has a more stricter view on BCS class 3)? Would dissolution data work? I can't imagine conducting a BE study for an OTC drug, but can't find justification to waive one. Thank you! ## Although I'm not totally familiar with this topic, I did come across a brief article of information that I thought could be of assistance. Unfortunately it's not European-based, but I hope it helps shed some light on the FDA's level of strictness: "Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS) is a regulatory mechanism through which drug developers and generic companies can obtain a waiver of clinical bioequivalence studies, also called a biowaiver. According to the 2000 FDA BCS Guidanc...

what is the difference between codeine#4 & codeinesulfate30? ## Hi connie, From my understanding there isn't a major difference at all. They are just different salts of the same drug: codeine. Different salts can exhibit different dissolution properties. Also, because they are different brands, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may respond favorably with one medication and not the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the...

I have 4.8 cm stone 4 pcs on my gallbladder. I suffer pain in my back and in my hips. ## Depending on what your doctor has stated, you may or may not decide to proceed with having your gallbladder surgically removed. The good news is that there are a number of traditional folk remedies which may help your condition. "An alternative to surgery and gallstone removal by chemical dissolution is gallbladder flush. Traditional European folk remedy recommends the use of olive oil and lemon juice to flush the gallstones. A major concern is that if the stones are too big, they may not easily come out or may even get stuck on the way out. Traditional Chinese medicine recommends the use of Gold Coin Grass (GCG) (botanical name: Herba Lysimachiae, Chinese sound translation: Chin-chien Tsao) to ...

What time of day is this med best ingested ## The dosing instructions for this medication do not list a specific time of day that one should take it, so I assume that you can use it at your own convenience. The adult dosing information for Potassium Chloride is posted below in regards to 'Prevention of Hypokalemia': "Oral: 10 to 20 mEq orally once a day given in equally divided doses using formulations which include normal-release tablets or capsules, extended-release tablets or capsules, dissolvable tablets, oral solution or powder for dissolution mixed with an appropriate volume of water or juice." I hope this helps! ## Can a SA form of potassium Cloride be dissolved and ingested mixed with pudding or applesause?

There are many fake Norcos out there....BEWARE!!!! Yellow, peach, and white ones....best way to find out is when u put them in a clear glass of water they dissolve real easily and into bits and pieces ## Not all fakes are created equally, and therefore the dissolution of a pill in a glass of water may only hold true for certain batches coming from a specific region. So I say the only sure way to protect oneself against fakes is to get a prescription filled at a licensed pharmacy. However, with counterfeits looking more and more like their real counterparts, anything less than a lab analysis is still a gamble in my opinion. Having said that, Norco tends to be one of the more commonly prescribed narcotic pain relievers. I would think if somebody has a legitimate need for it, doctors may b...
