My boyfriend is taking 2mg generic for Dilaudid for a knee replacement. He had no problems in the hospital with the brand name drug, but is having horrible headaches since coming home and using the Generic. Does it make sense that the generic can cause this? ## Dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, & nausea are all listed as common side effects associated with Dilaudid (Hydromorphone), no matter whether it's generic or not. I have switched medications from 30mg roxicodone to 8mg diladudid. And what i wanted to know is? Are there the same ingredients in the 2? Or if different, what are the different ingredients and are they the ingredients that have any thing to do with the pain part of the two? Or are they different in the fillers they use? i guess kinda like they do in dog foods and bologna... ## Roxicodone contains the active ingredient Oxycodone. Learn more Roxicodone details here. I have a capsual that is green on one end and white on the other cant remember what it is. no markings the card I put in the bottle was youredol is this what it is ## I live in Mexico and my doctor told me about Yuredol,so I thought Id research it ## I would like to know how often I should use Yuredol? my dr gave it to me for muscle pain. ## Is yuredol comparable to dilaudid? ## Yuredol contains the active ingredients Clonixin and Cyclobenzaprine, so no, it's not comparable to Dilaudid or any narcotic. Have had major chronic pain for several years now, was on oxy for about 3 years, then Dilaudid and Methadone when the Oxy no longer helped. Got so addicted had to go to treatment to get off the stuff. Have been in recovery since Feb 2009, but dr wants me to start taking the 2 mg tabs twice a day starting tomorrow for the pain. Have been reading through the info and comments and am kind of freaked out. Is this truly a good chronic pain medication?
