I wanted to know if there is anything one can do to prevent pupils from dilating when taking oxycontin. I take 80 milligrams at about 4pm and by 8pm or so I have dilated pupils. I also take nuerontin at about the same time. Thank you. ## nothing you can do. it's your body. How can you change things that natural. Sorry. Use eye drops. ## I am afraid that answer is correct. There is nothing you can do about it, it is a natural response to the effects of the opiates you are using. Is this creating some problem for you? Are these medications not prescribed? As the other poster stated, eye drops my help, but they would only be a tempory fix that would not last long and you have to be careful how often you use them and how much. Oxycontin contains the active ingredient Oxycodone, it is a ...

I have a son who was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and one of the drugs he was prescribed is bilocor 2.5mg. The doctor says to reduce the heart rate and to lessen the work that the heart has to do. Does it make sense? He has a vomit feeling in the mornings. Could it be a side effect of this drug? ## Yes, that medication is one that is normally prescribed to treat such a condition and yes, that is also a normal side effect, according to the NIH. He may also experience headache, dizziness, and increased urination. Is he on any other medications? Has he experienced any other symptoms?

Dear Dr. My father 65/m k/o IHD dilated ischaemic cardiomyopathy CCF DM II. takin Carvedilol (3.125 twice daily) Cardace 1.25 bed time, clavix AS150, Amaryl 1mg, Flavedon MR twice daily, Dytor 40mg 1/2 tab twicedaily. Pease suggest if there would be any side effects of the above. He feels weak & his bp remains 100/80 to 90/70. ## I am not a doctor, but I can provide you with some information. The reason he is feeling weak could be due to his blood pressure being so low, when it's hitting 90/70 this can be too low for some people and can cause symptoms such as feeling weak, dizzy and tired. While most doctors will tell you the lower your blood pressure the better, this is not completely accurate. There are points where it can be too low and will cause those kinds of symptoms. In ...

nevanac coupon ## I just started using Nevanac eyedrops along with another eyedrop for a prblem in my left eye which has had 4 surgeries (and is now permanently dilated) - I am on Medicare - but the cost of this medicine was $85.00. This is money which I really cannot afford to spend so the pharmacy suggested I check for a coupon to lower the price. Please help me. ## I was prescribed this and another eye drop to clear hopefully clear up a problem that I now have in my left eye which has already had 4 surgeries for macular degeneration and is now blurry (with both a contact lens and a contact for vision) and is also permanently dilated. Hi. I am taking a new beta blocker for 20 days now. I had to because of Sotalol and Apocard is not a good combination on the longer term (I have a light form of dilated cardiomyopathy). I take Nobiten now (5 mg) in the morning. Sometimes I still get a palpy and faster heart rate in the morning. When I get up early, take my pill and start to be active right-away. Some sources on the internet say it takes about 2-4 weeks to be fully active. Anyone with same experiences? I also have a itchy feeling over my body. Some rash on hands but I guess it's because of the hot and humid weather over here. I do have eczema for years. Ever since I was on a beta blocker. I do have health anxiety and I always am scared to drop dead... Thanks! ## Hello, Kaytie! How are you? Well, your heart rate is ne...

After taking the medication I felt a burning sensation in my throat and a heaviness in my chest. I question if this is one of the side effects. Also after taking the second dose my eyes were dilated (like I've been on drugs) lol.. ## These symptoms aren't listed under the normal side effects that the FDA has reported. They typically include symptoms such as nausea, headache, decreased appetite, rash, anxiety and impaired memory or attention span. Are you on any other medications? Have you ever had acid reflux? That can cause the burning and heaviness, so if you've ever had acid issues, this medication could be aggravating it.

I accidentally took to many Flexeril early Saturday morning. I felt horrible later .very tired .motor skills challenged. Today is Tues I feel almost normal but my pupils are still dilated. How long will this continue ## Hello, Jb! How are you feeling? How many did you take? It would likely be best to have this checked out, to be sure you didn't do any permanent damage to yourself. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this muscle relaxant as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

Hello, I've just started taking Lexam 10 escitalopram. I'm a 22 year old female being treated for depression/anxiety. I'm wondering if anyone else who has taken Lexam has experienced dilated pupils? My pupils are huge and have not died down. I've only been on it for 2 days and I had quite a bad headache for an hour or two, which has now completely gone. Apart from feeling nauseous and dizzy which I've been told is normal, I was quite concerned and wondering if it's normal? Thanks ## This NIH does list various optical side effects as being caused by this medication, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings, and weight gain. It may take about 4 to 5 weeks for such side effects to go away, but they should gradually improve in the i...

I am on cymbalta 60mg at night and 30mg in the morning along with 200mg of gabapentin 3x a day for fybromayalgia and mild depression. I was given adderall 30mgs and I took a few of them. I felt focused but had started to sweat excessively for a couple of hours and my pupils are dilated. I looked up the symptoms and it linked me to serotonin syndrome. Being freaked out I didn't take my gabapentin or cymbalta yet today. My question is...if I took 60mg of adderall this morning, should I take the other two scripts (cymbalta and gabapentin) today or skip them and wait 24 hrs for the adderall to leave my system? Do I need medical attention or am I being paranoid? My muscles are cramping up in my back and hands so I'm not sure if this is caused from skipping my meds for fibromyalgia or...

WHAT IS IT FOR ## I need a list of OTC meds that are equivalent to R-Tanna. Thanks. ## What is R-Tanna (chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine)? Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces the natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose). The combination of chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine is used to treat symptoms of the common cold or seasonal allergies, including sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, and itchy, watery eyes.

I take 90mg of Cymbalta and 900mg of Gabapentin daily for fibromyalgia. I also take Quetiapine 100mg for insomnia nightly. I am prescribed Xanax for anxiety which I take as needed not daily. My concern is that today I took 80 mg of Adderall from a co worker and within minutes my heart was racing, I started sweating like crazy for at least a couple of hours and my pupils were dilated. I looked up symptoms online and it linked me to Serotonin Syndrome. After reading the "Major" interaction Cymbalta has with Adderall, I avoided taking my daily dose of Cymbalta today. My concern is that as the day has moved along, my eyes are really sensitive to lights and although I am having hot flashes, I am cold. Sweaty palms and a mild headache. Question 1 - is this an OD? Question 2- how long aft

I took Topiramate for seven days. On the eighth day I had pressure that went up to 60 and 70 in my eyes and ended up in the hospital. They couldn't figure out what was wrong. It took them eight hours to figure out the problem. I was blind for three days. Developed ocular angular closure glaucoma.
