## Given as painkiller after operation - after 4 days, began itching, discomfort, I refused to take any more, left off all pain medication in hospital. I need to know what it contains and what warnings of reactions/allergies there are. ## Had been given fentanyl after Hysterectomy. Immediate reaction was severe rash and distressing, quite violent itching. Anaesthetist discontinued application. I am llergic to morphine for same reason - previous operation. Trade-names of this drug include Darvocet-N and Digesic Darvon with APAP for dextropropoxyphene and paracetamol and Darvon with ASA for dextropropoxyphene and aspirin. The paracetamol combination(s) are known as co-proxamol or in the United Kingdom, Capadex or Di-Gesic in Australia, Lentogesic in South Africa, and Di-Antalvic in France.
