Is it possible to get a better sleep with 5 mg. vs 10mg? From a different manufacturer. Teva 74 vs zpl 5 ## Hello, Kate! How are you? Yes, it is possible, it depends on the person, one brand my work better for them than another. Can I take a pilva 434 in place of my ambien 10 for one night only? ## Hello, Lettie! How are you? No, it is a much different medication. The tablet with the PLIVA 434 marking contains 100mgs of Trazodone, which is an antidepressant that is also sometimes used to treat insomnia. However, it's not going to work like your Ambien and should not be taken without your doctor's approval, It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain. Have been taking Ambien and am experiencing vision problems, tired eyes, flashes, and blur. ## Hello, Girlcat! How are you doing? Yes, Ambien has been known to cause such problems as side effects in some people that take it. I suffered similar effects from it. Have you consulted your doctor? You might need to try a different medication. ## I have been getting these similar eye problems since taking ambien. It's not happening when I take it at night, it's the next day or night! It's hard to explain but it seems like when I look up, I get a dizzy feeling and everything gets blurry for a minute! It also seems to make my head hurt right between my eyes when this happens. I noticed this last time I have a script for it. I had actually forgotten about it because its been a while s...

My dr proscribed Ambien and it just didn’t work. I would take 3 or 4 pills over the course of a night/day. Now I am out and it takes me 6 hours to fall asleep. My question is this. If I pay cash can I get an Rx for Valium before my 30 days is up? The medication is not working and I’m getting about 2 hours a sleep a night. Two nights I stayed up all night and throughout the next day. Is this lack of sleep bad for my health? ## The Zolpidem in Ambien is a sedative hypnotic, though it is related to Benzodiazepines, they are different and are used to treat different conditions. You should be able to get a Valium prescription, before the 30 days is up, but that policy can vary depending on your insurance plan, and your doctor's policy. Have you tried checking with your doctor...

Just got a new prescription for zolpidem. It is different from previous prescriptions. This one is round and pinkish color coating over a white center with marking on one side only M with a Z2 underneath. I cut them in half. Effect is different from the oblong, white pills I am accustomed to. Anybody familiar with these and are they zolpidem? ## Hello, Snooks! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 10mgs of Zolpidem, a generic for Ambien, which is used for the short term treatment of insomnia. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, sleep actions and next day hangover-like effects. Are they just not working for you or are you experiencing other symptoms?

My pharmacy gives me a different generic ambien almost every month. Can I ask for non-generic since I am paying without insurance? All of them work slightly different. Some hardly work at all. ## Hello, Jerry! How are you? Yes, you can do that. You can also ask your doctor to write the prescription as 'brand medically necessary' or whatever the equivalent is in your state. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, funny taste in mouth, sleep actions, hallucinations and next day hangover-like effects. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I wouldn't mind a generic ambein if i knew one that worked consistently. I read different opinions on all the generics. So would name brand be inconsistent also? I can n...

How do ambien 10mg pills compare to mirtazapine 15mg? Are they as strong as the ambien? ## You really can't compare the two, since they are in different medication classes. However, the Mirtazapine can be helpful for treating insomnia, depression, and anxiety, according to the FDA. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight changes. But, the only way to find out if it will help you is by trying it. Have you started taking them, yet?

I have had severe itching of scalp for the past year. Dermatologist said 'sebhoragic dermatitis' but the remedies did no good. I have bumps on the scalp. I don't know if it is malfunction of kidneys, liver, or just meds. I take Eliquis, Diltiazem and Ambien. My scalp is sore from scratching but I don't know what else to do. ## If I had to hazard a guess, it would be that it's the Eliquis, since it has been known to cause skin rash, and itching as side effects, along with nausea, headache, and increased risk of bleeding. These issues can occasionally also be caused by the Diltiazem, but it is not as common. Have you consulted your regular doctor? You might need to try different medications. ## My regular doc says it is up to the cardiologist, who insists I remain on E...

received pill, supposed to be ambie,10mgs,,white ,longshaope, about i inch,no markings ## i'm located in Katonahn N.Y.10536..the 2 packages of tablets (Lunesta &Ambien 10 mgs were identical..Round, Peach colored, Came from India..No Markings at all) I find that very suspicious ## Yes, I find it suspicious as well, as they are different medications, so they should not be identical. However, this is the hazard of ordering from a foreign source, you have no way of knowing what it is that you received, because they are not regulated like medications are in the U.S. That said, without markings, there is no way to know for sure what you have, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. Is anyone else familiar with these tablets? ## I was sold similiar, white round, with 2 semi circle ...

How are they different from my peach yellow tablet with logo on the ftont and 10 mg on back and the white ones marked 6469 ## Hello, Lady C! How are you? According to the prescription drug identification databases, these are both listed as containing 10mgs of Zolpidem, a generic for Ambien, they've just been manufactured by different companies. This is very common with generics, having several companies make it creates market competition to help keep prices down. The FDA lists this medication as being used for the short-term treatment of insomnia and typical side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, sleep actions and next day hangover-like effects. Is there anything else I can help with?

anyone who may know anything about this jplease let me know these people took over 200 dollars and sent me some yellow pills thru the mail that they claim are ambien, from usa, and fda approved. but they arent or they would have markings. i dont know what they are and im scared to take one. i want my money back but ive emailed them fifty times or more and never get a email back. ## Unfortunately, that's one of the hazards of ordering in such a manner, there's really no way of being sure what you'll get. Not long ago there were people posting on here who'd all ordered from one website and they all received the same exact pills, the problem was they'd all ordered different things and the place just sent them all the same pills claiming it was the drug they'd ordere...

Just an FYI. I woke up in the hospital on a respirator after my teenage son found me. This was not intentional. I developed pneumonia. Oh! I woke up deaf. I couldn't hear for two days. My kidneys failed and I was on dialysis for 8 weeks. My overall hospital stay was almost four weeks. My family noticed a marked difference in my personality. Two years later I'm finally more like myself. I still take my pain meds, I developed an allergy to ambien and was told to never take any kind of anti inflammatory again! IMO most OD's are combos. I have what the street calls the trinity. Hydro, sometimes Oxy, muscle relaxers, and two different benzo's. Scares me that one day my body will say, "Nope, no more" and I will wake up in the hospital again or die. My back pain is debi...

Hello, Has anyone used Zolab ip tabs (Ambien) from India? From Zenlabs pharmaceuticals ## Just got the Zenlab zolpidem 10 mg IP, it's a DUD!!! ## I see you used the Zolab. Were they really bunk? Are the Zolab's not safe and ineffective? ## I have what I thought was Zolpidem from India but it looks completely different. The packaging says Zolpidem tartrate restonite. They are white, long Bar like white pills. Are they safe to use and are they the same as Zolpidem 10 mg like they say they are? ## Hi, Don't remember zolabs, but I just received the orange colored tablet that come in the bubble wrapper LYPIN-10 by JP DRUGS that are supposed to be Zolpidem 10mg. I went though 10 of them straight and only slept because I wanted to. I called the pharmacy back to get a different type...

Round pill. 10 in on side and letters Z P L on the other. Suppose to be generic for Ambien by Geneva generics. There's so many diffrent generic pharmacies now. Everytime I get refilled it lookd different. ## That is normal with generic medications. Due to copyright reasons, I cannot post an image, but I can confirm that the tablet marked ZLP 10 does contains 10mgs of Zolpidem and is a generic or Ambien, used to treat short-term insomnia. Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, funny tast in mouth and memory loss. You can read more on it here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## the pill you're posting about is the one ive been taking for months with much success. all of a sudden, my pharmacy gives me a refill and the pills are totally different, white oblo...

For those of you who wish to get the "E 79" form of Zolpidem 10mg tablets, good news: Walmart Pharmacies stock them at a low price. I have been using these on occasion for two years, and they are indeed a high quality generic form of genuing Ambien (which will cost you $225.00 for 30 pills). ## The tablets with the E 79 marking are manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma. However, not all Wal-Mart pharmacies may carry them, it may vary in different areas of the country, so those looking for them should check with their pharmacist first. Learn more Zolpidem details here. Thank you for the post, Taurus. Can you post back with your general area, so people there that are looking for them know they can find them? ## Yes I can: I live in the South Florida area. Most proabably every Walmart o...

I picked up a prescrition for ambien (zolpidem) The tablets looked differant than usual. The number on the tablet is w715 ## The way a tablet looks has nothing to do with what is in it. Each company that manufactures a medication will put a different marking on it and, in most cases, make a different looking tablet. Pharmacies tend to purchase their generics according to whomever offers the cheapest medication at the time they have to restock their supply. This tablet contains 10mgs of Zolpidem, a generic for Ambien.

I sufer insomnia. Have taken differents medicines, but after several days I find they don't work. My Dr. gave me some sample of Rozerem, but I don't anything about this medication. ## I accepted this perscription as ambien or its generic zolpidem is for short term use and was no longer effective and I had been on it for a long time. I read the ingredients in rozerem and was disturbed by "black shellac" as the 2nd to last ingredient listed, but took my first pill 30 minutes before bedtime as instructed. I woke in the middle of the night extremely nauseated and eventually returned to sleep, however upon waking in the morning, felt nauseated still. Took hours for the nausea to wear off and spent all yesterday in a sluggish state of being. Did not repeat taking the pill last...
