What is the difference between klonopin 0.5 mg with a pill marking of R33 and 832 TEVA? ## These are both generics for Klonopin, which contain 0.5mgs of the active ingredient Clonazepam, the only different is they are manufactured by different companies. This is a Benzodiazepine, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## there is a difference in how the medication is absorbed in the body. you are not being honest. Klonopin has a much better effect on me. I suffer with rapid thoughts and can not clear my mind to fall asleep. Klonopin has worked for many years. Now i have no choice but to work with other medications, suffer, use clonazepam, or pay outrageously for a medication I cannot aff...

What's the difference between clonazepam ip and regular clonazepam tablets any difference in potency ## No, some places just list the initials for the chemical salt it is derived from, however, aside from the slight allowable fluctuations in generic medications, Clonazepam is Clonazepam and one will be as potent and effective as any other. This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, irritability and headache. Are there any other questions?

After reading all the posts about this particular med, I now realize that the different colors of this same medicine affects each of us differently. I cannot take the blue, yellow or orange clonazepam but the pink one is a life saver for me. My pharmacist has given me the others and my anxiety doubles. I have searched for the drug store that carries the pink one. I just cannot take the others. So weird how the same medicine, same dosage is so very different from manufacturer to manufacturer. What is the difference really? And why are they different? I wondered if it was the dye to color the pills. :-) Hope everyone gets the one that works best for you. ## Hello Imabkwrm, To answer your question simply the primary difference you typically find between brands of a medication is the inacti...

There are all these conspiracy theories about clonazepam generics, the FDA heavily regulates these and cannot have > +/- 20% of active ingredient. I too favor the tevas, but those are the old school generics and I think we just have an emotional attachment/ placebo effect to with regard to them. These placebo/mental effects can cause REAL withdrawal symptoms (my psychiatrist is one of the top pain/anxiety management docs in Texas). Also certain message boards dont even allow generic brand comparisons because there can be no noticeable difference between generic brands in terms of the effectiveness, but there may be placebo effects on addiction/withdrawal. Does anyone have any non-anecdotal evidence to support certain generics being worse than others? ## If you really want to read up...

I have been prescribed clonazepam 1mg twice a day for abut 2 years now , and I heard that the brand name ( klonopin ) works much better because it s stronger and I heard it s more expensive too but if it worth it why not ... My question is : Can I switch from the generic ( clonazepam ) to the brand name ( klonopin ) with the same prescription that has clonazepam on it without a problem ? Will the pharmacy give me the klonopin even if my prescription says clonazepam ? I know it s just a difference between generic and the brand name but I m not sure if it s possible, Thank you ## Hi, Ray! How are you doing? There can be variations from the generic to the name brand, but they are only slight, so it isn't likely that it would be much stronger, unless you're very sensitive to medicat...

I had to switch from Teva to Actavis clonazepam and am feeling a bit more negative on the new brand, despite the nearly identical inactive ingredients between the two. Does the composition of the active ingredient, the medicine itself vary between brands. Is it synthesized differently or use a different formula? ## Hello Schleprock, No. The active ingredient is the same but even though the inactive ingredients are similar or even listed as the same it doesn't necessarily mean they are identical. the reason for this is that they do not have to disclose the amount of inactive ingredients, so maybe one company uses a larger dosage of corn starch while the other barely uses any and so on. These minor differences can make major differences in how your body is able to metabolize the pill....

I was stressed out over my relationship breaking down and I asked for Sandoz, because of my anxiety, but was given the pink tablets not the white, the pink ones knocked me out, what is the difference between them both as I seemed to be fine if I only had half of the pink one, and they seemed to work better on controlling the anxiety than having one full white one. ## Sandoz is the name of a company that manufactures medications, it isn't the name of a medication, so I am not sure which one you are talking about. They make quite a few different products. If it's given for anxiety/stress, then I would guess that it is some type of Benzodiazepine, such as Alprazolam or Clonazepam, which are both in their product catalog. What are the markings on the tablets? This would enable me to...

I have been taking lisonpril/hctz 20-25 mg, is it safe to switch to triamt/hctz 37.5-25 mg? ## There is currently a shortage of Triamterene with Hydrochlorothiazide, so you may have trouble getting a prescription for it filled. Has your doctor recommended making this change? The difference between the two is the Lisinopril, which is a ACE inhibitor and the Triamterene, which is a potassium sparing diuretic. They are both used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions, but the Triamterene is often give to someone that requires diuretic therapy, but is too low in potassium. The side effect profile is also similar for both and may include: nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and dehydration. Learn more: ## Is Triamt hctz generic for clonazepam

I usually am given the GREEN #98 833 1mg clonazepam, but when I filled rx today, she gave me the BLUE v2531 1mg clonazepam. Could someone please let me know which are known to be better? Thanks ## It truley a shame that SO MANY PEOPLE are going through these awful circumstances of not being able to gain access to Pain Medication that they desperately need for chronic pain. I'm not particularly religous but It's absolutely a SIN! Seriously, to hear of all of the ppl out there suffering, I find it extremely dis-heartening and very sad! ## Hi Sarah, There's only two differences that I noticed between the two pills; one being that they are manufactured by different companies. 93 833 is distributed by Rebel Distributors (NDC 21695-261) and V 2531 is manufactured by Qualitest Phar...

Can you tell me if there is a difference between these 2 pills. ## Hello, Doll face! How are you? They are both Benzodiazepines and, as listed by the FDA, are most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. They carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. The dosing of the ones you mentioned are equivalent, you need 1mg of Clonazepam for each 2mgs of Lorazepam. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was just wondering if it was the same as volume or if there are other components that make it different and what is the difference between the two. I take it for panic and anxiety attacks and I am thankful for it. It does make me very tired. A lot of times I sleep but I really wanted a drug that would help me with my problems, yet allow me to be awake, active and try to live a normal life for me, husband and children. Can you give me some information and suggestions on other medicines that might be what I'm looking for. Thank you for your time and help. ## Hi Naomi, Klonopin is a brand name for the drug Clonazepam. I wanted to ask you a couple of questions, can you please post the answers? 1) Do you know what the active ingredient in Volume is? If it is Clonazepam then it's pr...

What is the difference between a RX that has keto as a suffix compared to same RX with apo as a suffix? ## That's just the abbreviation for the manufacturer. APO stands for Apotex. This is commonly done in Canada, many medications are referred to by the manufacturer first, then the drug name, so you may see something listed as APO-Clonazepam or KETO-Clonazepam. Learn more prescription drug details here. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on Xanax for many years and it seems to not work anymore. The doctor prescribed Klonopin for me today, is there or will there be any side effects from changing from one medication to the other? ## i to have been taking xanax for awhile now,my drs. have now precribed klonopin, what is the difference between the two meds.??? ## Not a very significant difference, they are both Benzodiazepines, so they work in your body in the same way. The dosages and bass chemical active ingredient differ slightly, so sometimes when you have built a tolerance up to one form, you can switch to another to regain efficacy. The active med in Xanax is called Alprazolam, here's the monograph for more info: Xanax Info Click Here Klonopin is Clonazepam. Klonopin Info Click Here ## Klonopin is a lo...

I have a script of clonazepam, but I take xanax once a month, not a lot of them. I believe they are only going back 3 months and I didn't use any xanax but only one day one month, but a few of them. Do they check for levels of the benzo's? And can they tell what type of benzo you took? And the last time I took the xanax was about 4 or 5 days ago. How long does it take to come out in ur hair? Someone help that has actually had a test. I'm trying to go get the test done today or tomorrow. Ty in advance. ## So what happened? Can they tell the difference. Between diff benzo's? if you take valium and later take a clonipin can they tell the difference? ## i take valium regulary ,i was out and a friend said clonipin was the same thing , the dr .taken a test cant tell the difference,, is this true? ## It depends on what type of test the doctor orders. A basic, regular test will only register the fact that you took Benzodiazepines, since the are both in that drug class. Valium contains Alprazolam and Klonopin contains Clonazepam. However, there are more specific tests that can tell the difference between them. And though they are in the same drug class, they are not the same thing, they are two different drugs. Do you know what type of test your doctor does? ## blood test ## it was a bloood test ## Then there is a chance they may do the one that lets them know the...
