Difference Between Acetaminophen And Hydrochloride

I have been taking oxycodone acetaminophen 10/325 for some time; now my pharmacy has changed to oxycodone hydrochloride. It bothers my stomach and doesn't seem to work as well. What is the difference between the two? ## The second one you've listed just lacks the Acetaminophen, going by what you've said in your post. What is the dose of it? The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The Acetaminophen does help it work better, for some people.

Hello. What is the difference between A333 & A 3333, if they're *BOTH* supposedly a watson generic of percoset 10/325??? Thank you! :-) ## @confused, I have yet to find any specific details on a pill marked A 3333. "A333" on the other hand is reported to be a generic Percocet, containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Actavis (formerly known as Watson) however is listed as the manufacturer. Where did you come across a pill with an extra "3" at the end? I wonder if it's a misprint...

what is difference between M 357 and Watson 932 in terms of effectiveness? ## Watson 932 is Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (10 mg). M357 is Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). That said, the comparison lies between Oxycodone and Hydrocodone. My research shows that Acetaminophen + Oxycodone is used for acute (short term) moderate to severe pain. While Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone doesn't specify being, quote "short term". To view information about these two drugs, please refer to the links below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you.

Round yellowish/gold pill with a M in a square around it on 1 side, and 505 on the other (I think). What is this? I was told it was a Percocet 40. ## A round yellow tablet marked [M] inside a box on one side and 595 on the other side is Oxycodone Hydrochloride Extended Release 40 mg (NDC 00406-0595). The difference between Percocet and this is that Percocet also contains Acetaminophen (Tylenol). Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals Hope this helps! ## The closest match I could locate is a pill imprinted with "M" on one side (not in a box) and "505" on the other. It is also a white pill and not yellowish/gold as you described. This pill is identified as Bisoprolol fumarate (10mg) + hydrochlorothiazide (6.25 mg); which is used to treat high blood pressure. I'm t...

I just went through surgery. Prior to surgery I was given a generic of Percocet - IP203 , after I received plain pill, no letters but 512 on one side, what is the difference, if any please as I am concerned. Thank You ## Both "IP 203" and "512" contain the same two active ingredients Acetaminophen 325mg + Oxycodone hydrochloride 5mg. The primary noticable differences between these two pills are the different manufacturers they are made by, as well as each pill containing different inactive ingredients or fillers. Inactive ingredients or fillers can effect how efficiently the drug is absorbed into your system and therefore determine how effective it might be over another similar pill with different inactive ingredients. Inactive Ingredients in IP 203: silicon dioxide cros...
