I take diclofenac 75mgs DR tablet, it says to take one twice a day. I was wondering if I can take one three times a day? I don't want to go over the maxium dose, so is it ok to take 225mgs of diclofenac dr tablet a day? ## Hello, Ashley! How are you? Curious if anyone had headaches while taking this. My Dr put me on this after being on Mobic. I am getting headaches - just curious as to what your Dr changed your meds to. I am a 56 year old male, I take an 82 mg asprin and 5 mg amlodipine for blood pressure dailey. I take fish olil capsels most days and about 5 mg of a genaric cialis a few days ago. I was prescribed two 75 mg dicolfenac-dr a day as an anti-inflamator. After 5 to 7 days I have pain in my kidney area, sever in certain possitions , especially laying down. what is the difference between diclofenac dr 75mg tab and diclofenac potassium 50mg tab? ## They are both Diclofenac Potassiume, however, the dosage is clearly difference and the DR means that the 75mg one is delayed released, so the medication is slowly released, after you take it, rather than being released all at once. The Ibuprofen in the Melfen and the Diclofenac in the Diclac are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, so essentially you'd be doubling up on the same thing.
