Detroit Norco

Lately it seems like everywhere I go to get my norco 7.5 filled lately, I get those horrible white pills (not sure of the manufacturer). They seriously make me feel ill! I'm looking for a pharmacy around Livonia, Plymouth, Canton, Northville, etc, that still carries the peach ones with the flying "V" on the back (I believe it's Qualitest). Can i have my 7.5 norco filled on the internet in detroit michigan? ## None at all. I just spent two days searching every pharmacy I could find. That's not including the ones I called too. Get to one pharmacy they say they have it but can't fill just a narcotic script alone. I have been fed up!!!! Went back to my doctor and he changed the script to tramadol. I am starting this thread so we may be able to aid each other when we have problems filling our prescriptions in Metro Detroit area. If you'd like to just make it all of Michigan that would be fine too since some people may travel out of the Metro Area. I haven't been able to fill my script for a week now and I have hit every pharmacy imaginable. If I am successful at filling my script, I will list the pharmacy that was able to fill it afterwards. In the detroit area there is a incredible shortage of norco. Pharmacy's say they have no info. Called FDA. Release date dec 15th add 3-4 days for delivery from distributors. Can anyone tell me why every pharmacy in metro Detroit is out of Norco? They don't know when they will be in? Even the pain center that prescribed it with their own pharmacy is out. ## Shortages just sometimes happen, the manufacturers may have trouble obtaining the raw ingredients, shipping problems or etc. The only thing you can really do is wait it out, or speak to your doctor about possibly prescribing an alternative medication in the meantime. Is anyone else having problems finding a pharmacy to fill their scripts of Norco? I have been taking them for a few years now for my chronic pain. I always go to the same pharmacy chain, and its always the same doctor who writes my scripts, but since the new law change no one seems to have them in stock. Some pharmacists told me it was a manufacturer back order. We are told not to go without our meds, but yet how is that possible if we can't get them? I live in the Detroit area. Been filling norco for over 12 years now and never had a problem. Now I cant find a pharmacy to fill them. I read above that there is a shortage at the end each year. I have a fractured rib and chronic lower back pain and have been on Norco for a year (7.5-325). I have been switched to Tramadol since this recent shortage. I have not been able to find any pharmacy in the Detroit area that can fill my Norco prescription. I have read that it has been gone to a controlled substance level II, and that they had to relabel everything. I called the manufacturers, and they said that they had relabeled everything, so that wasn't the issue. Then I was told that the pharmacies have to do a ton of paperwork to receive it now. Each pharmacy says they keep ordering, and they keep not getting in shipments. I just move here from phoenix where I was on Percocet 10mg, MS Contin(morphine sulfate 100mg), or synthetic opaite will work too bupanorphine, Tiban i think is on. and Soma. I don't have inscurance and I am looking for a Dr. or PM clinic that will write opiod medications. Anywhere in the Detroit Metro area would be nice.
