name-leodeb. i am 35 yr old male.dr presscribed me desval er500.after seeing my eeg,ecg and mri scan with contrast.all three reports are ok.but last week i had got a fit and was senceless for 2 hours.if all rports are ok then why dr given me this drug.is there any side effect. ## changed from zomiasade 100 to desval er500 ........ increased weight, dizzness, forgetness, was having zomiasade for last 2 years, before that Eption 100, why these changes yet not healed, answered by the doctor is it can be supperssed not healed. ## i am 31 yrs old and i am using desval er 500 mg for fits, suddenly i stopped the medicines . any problem will occurs due to this

I'm 53 yr old Govt employee. I'm taking Desval-ER 500 mg for the last 3 yrs for nervous illness. Earlier I was taking Lithosun SR 500 mg b.i.d for the last 14-15 yrs..Dr. switched from lIthosun SR 500 mg to Desval-ER 500 mg as lithium accumulated in the blood due to which drastic weight loss had occured.. In starting Desval-ER worked well and weight got normalized but now after 3 yrs of its continous use, again a significant decrease in weight (i.e derease in weight from 72 kg in Sep 2011 to 55 kg in Nov, 2014) has been observed..I have been taking treatment from PGI, Chd for the last 8-9 yrs ..All the tests like liver function, Ultrasound, T3-T4, TSH, Urine, Blood RBC count are found to be normal..Please suggest and guide in this matter.. My 19 year old ADHD son has difficulty in staying awake during daytime.He's mildly Dyslexic also.He's taking Addwize,Desval ER 500,and Fluvoxine. To overcome his sleep problem and to have more concentration is it better to take Attentrol or Armod 150? If one Armod 150 is taken as morning dose,will he feel more sleepy in the evening?Does Attentrol cause sleepiness? ## If ur son consumes Armod 50 mg or 150 mg Then he will not feel sleepy in day time . 1 tablet of 50 mg is enough to keep him awake during day time . My son is taking Desval ER since 2007.Now it is out of stock.Dr. has prescribed Dicorate ER 500 mg, will this affect him?
