i have been in ever increasing pain for the past 11 years.first i was told it was in my head.then fibromyalgia.now nueropathy.gabapentin and robaxin help but the pain is winning over.how do i disscuss getting at least tylenol#3 to add in?i am 48.i walk a lot.i try to stay active.some days i do not get out of bed.talking to a doctor about prescribing seems to be taboo.i do not want my doctor to label me as drug seeking.i am not.i am seeking help for better quality of life.i also have major depression. ## Ask your doctor to go to a pain management clinic. It's not from the Zoloft. Your having gabapentin WD's and symptoms of interdose withdrawals IDK ## Hi! I am not sure who you were responding to, but in the future to make a response to someone's post, you can use the reply button directly under their post, so they will receive notification of your response. As to withdrawals, a person can experience them if they abruptly stop any medication that they've been taking for a long period of time. Thus, both Zoloft and Gabapentin can cause withdrawal issues, including the risk of seizures, which may be dangerous, as reported by the FDA. Other withdrawal effects may include dizziness, headache, irritability, mood swings, rebound depression, anxiety, insomnia and diarrhea. Is there anything I can help with?

I take 4 mgs of suboxone everyday and it's been like 5 hours since I took my suboxone. My wife is prescribed Trintellix for depression. This is anti-depressant #3 in our effort to alleviate both anxiety and depression. She has a propensity for abusing benzos, but that is not an option now. We’re only on day 8, but she doesn’t appear to be making any progress. She has access to gabapentin and is finding that if she takes a large amount of this med (gabapentin), she can get temporary relief, experiencing some energy and mood enhancement. We’re talking about 2000mg to 3000mg at a time (once a day). Questions are: Is Gabapentin adversely masking any headway we might be making with Trintellix? I've been taking 300mg. gabapentin nightly for about 2 months I no longer want to take it because it does nothing for my back pain. Can I just stop taking it without problems. ## It is always best to taper this medication slowly, because stopping it abruptly can cause a risk of seizures. I was off Gabapentin for many, many months and gradually went DOWNHILL with depression and anxiety. I finally went back on it yesterday and I actually feel "normal"! Well, normal for me. I do believe it's a miracle drug! I don't understand how gabapentin is prescribed for my acute chronic fibromyalgia, when the consultant tells me they don't understand fibromyalgia should he be prescribing medication on a condition "no one fully understands"? after taking my very first pill this morning an hour later I feel drunk as a skunk! Recently my Md prescribed neurontin for me and I am afraid to take it. I am BipolarII Clinically Depressed and have attempted suicide in the past 4 yrs. How many hours should I wait after taking midrin before I take gabapentin and tramadol? ## There is really no set time frame, but you should be aware that combining these medications that can cause depression of the central nervous system, could cause you to experience more nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness than usual. if you have had seizuries and taking dylatin can you take gabapentin for chronic pain ## Caution is advised regarding using the Gabapentin with the Phenytoin in Dilantin, because it can increase the level of central nervous system depression and psychomotor impairment that they both can cause. Has your doctor instructed you to use them both? If so, they should be monitoring you closely and they have to take the dosage of both under careful consideration.

I am on cymbalta 60mg at night and 30mg in the morning along with 200mg of gabapentin 3x a day for fybromayalgia and mild depression. I was given adderall 30mgs and I took a few of them. I felt focused but had started to sweat excessively for a couple of hours and my pupils are dilated. I looked up the symptoms and it linked me to serotonin syndrome. Being freaked out I didn't take my gabapentin or cymbalta yet today. My question is...if I took 60mg of adderall this morning, should I take the other two scripts (cymbalta and gabapentin) today or skip them and wait 24 hrs for the adderall to leave my system? I had an attack of major depression with delussion & panic phobia some 16 years back. Treated by psychiatrist who prescbed different drugs on different ocassiona. My son is on Gabspentin, and also on Paxil, he is getting the blurry vision, do you know of drugs interactions that are negative? ## Both of these medications can cause dizziness as side effects, so that could account for it. Otherwise, I would ask how much Gabapentin he is taking? The blurred vision is usually only experienced by those who are taking to much. Has anyone spoken to his doctor about this? The only reported interaction between the two is that they both can cause depression of the central nervous system, so anyone using them together should be closely monitored by a doctor on a regular basis. I'm wondering if it is safe to take 60mg morphine sulfate .er with 900 mg gabapentin, 3mg melatonin , and 50 mg vistril together. does anyone know if the morphine will react badly with the others? I take the others together every night ## The Morphine, Vistaril and Melatonin can all increase sedation and cause depression of the central nervous system, so you shouldn't combine them, unless your doctor has specifically said that its safe for you to do so. It could be dangerous, if you aren't tolerant to them or when combined with some health conditions. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can you take Gabapentin with Zubsolv safely? I have been on Gabapentin for a while now but just started taking Zubsolv for opiate addiction and don't know if it's safe to take together. ## Yes, you can take Neurotin with the Zubsolve. I take both daily. ## They can be taken together, as Deanna has stated, but the FDA does warn that combining may result in more severe symptoms of respiratory depression, such as drowsiness, dizziness, sedation. You should also be aware to watch for extreme drowsiness, shallow breathing, and other signs of respiratory distress. Is your doctor aware that you are taking both of them? It is always important that you be properly monitored, for your health and safety.

Im on a pain pump with Hydromorphone. I also take and Gabapentin and tramadol and recently my doc put me on methocarbamol also.... I seen to have a huge increase in obsessive bad thoughts and really bad depression.. is this common? is the new horrible depression because of the new med??
