deplatt cv 20 Blood pressure
Doctor prescribed this medicine in place of Beta-Nicardia Is this medicine is good because it contains Asprin. ## This medication actually isn't used to treat high blood pressure. Previously my husband was taking Deplatt A 75 after lunch but other day one doctor said it can be taken before lunch, so we are confused. ## Hello, Sushmita! How are you? There really isn't a best time, per se, he should take it whenever it works for him, be that before or after his meal. It really won't change how the medication works. so far ny wife is prescribed : TG TOR 20 mg 1 tab/day Deplatt 20 mg 1 tab/day Coversyl Plus 1 tab/day Depin Retard 20 mg 1 tab/day she had a partial block in left Carotid vain. but yesterday, we received: LOPRIN 75 mg for Depin Retard and ZOSTA 10 mg for TG TOR. are they ok? ## Loprin is a low dose aspirin to slow clotting of the blood ## Yes, that is odd. Depin Retard contains the active ingredient Nifedipine, which is an anti-anginal medication and the Lopin is, as Donna said, Aspirin, used as a blood thinner. They are not interchangeable. The TG TOR contains Atorvastatin and the Zosta contains Simvastatin, they are in the same class of medications and are used to lower cholesterol, so switching from one to the other here isn't really a problem.
