Can you drink alcohol when taking steroids ## Alcohol on its own will certainly be putting stress on your liver and so are the oral steriods so using both will consequently have a lot more of a negative effect over a shorter period of time. I obviously don't agree with either options, but I suggest choosing one over the other if you felt the need to. Have you done your research on the long term side effects of either option? The severity and number of symptoms are pretty staggering. I hope you are willing to seek help or more advice from others if these are "your" intentions.

I'm taking 6 deltacortil (first day today) for 7 days. Was just wondering if weight gain will occur in that little time? ## Hello, Megb! How are you? You may experience a little bit of weight gain due to fluid retention, but it should go away, in a week or so,once you finish the medication. but after 6 weeks reduced to 5 mg after 1 day, for few days it was ok but now I am having pain in my shoulder- I am back where I started. My doctor put me on deltacortril 5mg for a rash i had on forehead, at first he put me 5 a day for 6 months then after 6 months 3 a day the next week 2 a day and 1a day, now i feel very low and depressed now, I was taken alexapro for depression before i started taken deltacortril, the doctor took me off alexpro. How this can be used for bodybuilding? ## my advise --don't do it, if you have not any medical problem--you should avoid this ## I know this is a 7 month old question but just for information purposes, the steroid referenced here is a corticosteroid. Recently I had an absess, went on antibiotics and got the tooth removed. My son has been a muscular dystrophy patient since age 9 and has used deltacortril ec 20mg for one and half years, daily. Now he has a lot of fluid retention and his face swelled so much his doctor recommend dropping the prednisolone gradually and adding imuran 50mg daily, but it feel like his muscle strength is not good.
