I found a pill with p97 in on it and nothing else on the other one but it is very dark brown. Can anyone tell me what this is? p - L on one side and its dark brown ## I cannot be 100% certain on this, but some with this marking are reported to be a gas relief product that contains Simethicone. The company makes it in a softgel and a tablet. Does anyone else recognize this?

I have a small brown or dark orange pill that has what looks like a 10 on one side. An M or W on one side, nothing on the other side. ## A dark maroon/brown pill med in size, on one side it has either a W or M, both look capital size(block?). Has nothing on the other side, it's smooth. ## There is nothing that matches this description with just an M on it listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases. With nothing else to the imprint, it makes me suspect that this is an over the counter item. Need to know what pill this is. It's round with 2 scores like to break in fourths, the top left has a capitol B and lower right has the number 23 its dark brown or purple in color and the back is empty no markings. ## I found one of these as well and can't seem to find what it is anywhere online! ## I have this too, from my vet for my cat. So I recently found a bottle of pills that were velcrowed underneath my bathroom sink in my apartment. I'm assuming the person that lived here before me did it. The pills are dark blue capsules with a dark yellow brownish powder. WHAT ARE THEY??? ## Hi Sarah - that's such an interesting story I'd be super curious myself! Of course I wouldn't try taking them and "finding out" what they are! Hmmm - are there any markings on those capsules or any other identifiable information on the bottle? In order to know for sure it would be ideal if there are some letters or numbers on the capsules, otherwise it's going to be hard to find a definite answer to this mystery. Have you had any luck since you first posted this? Now you have me super curious too!

I found a light brown pill with darker brown speckles. It is oval shaped with no markings at all. It might be a diet pill because the persons room I found it in has been losing a lot of weight but i'm not sure. Any information would be helpful. ## I'm sorry, but if there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this is. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification, however, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products, or even a foreign medication. Have you tried asking the person? Does anyone else know what this might be?

It is nearly impossible to identify any medication if there is no imprint. In fact, All U.S. prescription medications are required to have one. It sounds like you may have a vitamin, OTC medication, or possibly something from a foreign source. Where did you find the capsule? That may help to narrow down it's identity. If you have more of the capsules and are unable to have them analyzed, I suggest that you safely dispose of them.

on the light part of the capsule on one side the other is dark brown and has the numbers 83 on top and 3107 underneath it. ## it was amoxicillin and the first number was 93NXUFA ## the first number was 93 ## That is correct, the marking is 93 3107 and the capsules contain 250mgs of the antibiotic Amoxicillin, which is used to treat various types of infections.
