If it has no markings, then I think its origin is the probably one of the next most important factors to take into consideration (i.e. from a pharmacy, friend, internet source, etc?)... One thing is for certain though, and that is US (FDA) regulations require pharmaceuticals to bear an imprint for identification. Without these details present I can almost be certain it's not a legitimate US prescription drug. I found a blister pack of 4, all dark blue capsules, with white powder inside. The only marking is on the blister packet of a LOT Number. No markings at all on the capsules. They were in my boyfriends coat jacket, he is 38. He said they were for back problem, but I know they cant be as they are unmarked and I pick up his prescriptions for his back problems. However given the pill description I would lean toward some sort of OTC dietary supplement; maybe even a pre/post-workout related capsule, as these tend to have no markings but also bear a unique appearance that may be similar to this (at least some that I've taken in the past). But despite anyone's best efforts here, the only way to truly verify what it is would probably be to have its contents analyzed by a lab. If you don't mind me asking, whereabouts did you get it from?

I found a bottle in my old car and found inside it a few pills that in one side was blue or royal blue and in the other side was white. Opened it up and inside was a same SIzed ppill form that was dark brown. The smell off it could pass for beef broth cubes. Help would be appreciated. ## Are there any markings, at all, on them? If not, from this description, I can only guess that it is an over the counter product, of some type, most likely an herbal supplement. So I found a dark blue capsule with a very thin white line around the middle. It was in my Cymbalta bottle so I'm sure it was a mistake. It sounds like cymbalta when I shake it, like it has powder in it. My cymbaltas are white on one side and the same dark blue on the other side, but this was just all dark blue with a thin white line around the middle. ## Are there any markings on the capsule? The imprint code is what would enable us to to identify it for you. There are no Cymbalta capsules that meet that description, but it is impossible to tell what it is, just from the color. If it has the marking 6mg on it, then it is a 6mg Zanaflex capsule, which is a muscle relaxant. Regardless of what it is, you do need to report the error to the pharmacy, because they need to be more careful...

Trying to figure out what this pill is from a photo. Doesn't seem to have any markings on it but might be on the other side of the pill, however there are multiple pills in the photo and no markings on any of them. It seems to be a dark blue/purple color on half and the other half is cream tinted white. If you have any idea what this could be please help!!
