Can it be dangerous to take Invega Sustenna? Are the risks worth the benefits of this medication? ## as far as I know, 4.5% in comparison to 2.6 % on placebo died, but not sure if those were only elderly patients or not. when I asked about weight gain, lots of medicines said taht weight gain is 10 %, unfortunately I have always been in those 10%. So now the risk is 5%, according to my experience the risk to die would be 50/50 then, that is in fact a high risk and I would prefer 5% 5/100, but I have a hard time believing in the statistics given my experiences. I would in any case check all the safety measures before: take risperdal max. dosage and invega max. dosage (not together, one after the other or just the one that you yet didn't have) and see how you react to this before you t...

I have to give my dog peri-pred (prednisone for babies) and her prescription has expired. Is it still safe to give my dog this liquid prednisone. ## Expired tablets (depending on the type of medication and how it's stored) may generally be regarded as safe under certain circumstances. However, when it comes to liquid solutions, I don't think it's wise to take any chances if has been expired for any significant length of time. That's just my two cents though. So it may be best to discuss the benefits vs risks with a qualified veterinarian who can evaluate the dog in person. Surely, if it's only a few days to a week past due, I personally wouldn't have any issues with the expiration date, but this is your dog's health on the line and I would encourage you to ge...

Found a large, oblong, hot pink pill, the number 890 is on one side and 93 is one the other. What is this, please? ## what is this drug, and what is the use? ## wasthb ## I found a large oval white pill with the number 537 on one side and 93 on the other. What is it ## Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? The tablet with the 93 890 marking contained 100mgs of Propoxyphene and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, it was a generic for Darvocet. You can see here in these details, that it was discontinued in 2010 due to the risk of overdose it caused, and the fact that it could cause cardiac dangers, so the risks were found to outweigh any possible benefits it might provide. It was very mild in its pain relieving effects, anyway, so it didn't help a lot of people. Are there any other questions?

I've read many articles about the possible benefits of Metformin outside diabetes treatment. However I've also read a few articles about health dangers such as heart damage. It seems there is paradoxical information, countering the anti aging claims there's articles stating Metformin actually shortened lifespans in male mice while extending it in females. Is Metformin a safe medication for non diabetic men, or even diabetic men?

What happened with Picovir. I heard FDA failed to approve it in 2002. Has anything changed since then? ## No, it doesn't appear that there has been any change. It was initially rejected by the FDA because it was found to provide only modest benefits to those who used it and the potential for dangerous problems that it could cause far outweighed the slight help it gave. Is there anything else I can help with?

I just want to know the side effects of dinintel 30mg. I'm taking it because I want to lose 40lb by july. ## From what I could gather on this drug, Dinintel (Clobenzorex) has been banned in many countries due to it's potentially dangerous side effects and abuse in the sports world. "It can reduce fatigue and increase attention providing athletes with an unfair advantage. Yet these “benefits†are not without their negative side effects. Clobenzorex may be partly to blame for at least one athlete’s death." "As far as its weight loss benefits, this potent product may provide some substantive appetite control. Yet, in view of the negative side effects of this substance it is hard to be excited about any of its benefits. Cl...

When I should use pot cl and what are the benefits? ## Hi, Abdo! This is just a potassium supplement, it is vital to our overall health and a deficiency in it can cause quite a few health issues, such as high blood pressure, elevated heart rate and irregular heart rhythm. However, you shouldn't take it, unless your doctor has actually done a blood test and told you that you need to take it, because too much of it can also be very dangerous. Did your doctor prescribe this for you? ## I was prescribed pot cl micro 10 meg along with water pill. Now that I'm not taking the water pill I've been still taking the potassium since August. What danger am in. I feel something going on ## Can I crush these very large tablets?

My Dad just got receive a supplement yesterday. it's a 180x500mg Green Lipped Mussel Capsules. Just want to asked what's the main benefits of this? Is there are restrictions for those people who will take it? Has anyone tried this before? please shared your thoughts.. Thank You! ## Since this is a supplement, rather than a medication, it is difficult to provide you with a lot of information on it, because they are not tested for safety, nor analyzed for side effects, like that which is done for prescription medications. That said, manufacturers claim that it has anti-inflammatory properties to help with conditions like arthritis and bursitis, but this is not actually proven. This also means that I can't answer your question about restrictions, or possible dangers, since this...

I have been on every statin invented, including fibrates etc!. All have caused severe muscle pain, nausea, loss of energy, actually, i could go on forever regarding side effects. Doctors opinion is usually that you are overreacting/imagining the severity of side effects, most doctors won't even admit that statins are the culprits ! I have read many reports into the benefits/dangers of taking statins and I'm beginning to veer towards the opinion that the benefits don't outweigh the risks! By the way, i cannot tolerate medications for high blood pressure either.I would like to say that I am a very active person and, i have also lost weight through exercise and diet. Still the cholesterol stays high! (8.2). I believe that personalised medication is not too far into the future, wou

I'm having a hard time finding an otc multivitamin with these specific vitamins having 100% nutritional value in them. Please help!! ## I'm afraid that you probably won't find any, regardless of where you look. The reason for this is due to the fact that too much of some nutrients can be dangerous and cause severe health issues as easily as not having enough of them. This is especially true of vitamin b12. Since you normally take in some amount of it through your diet, taking a nutritional supplement with the full RDA of it would essentially be an overdose. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Thus, precisely what are the benefits of vitamin C? Initially, the vitamin can make the pores and skin much younger and also clean. I took mobic for back pain due to herniated disc and it worked great. I was able to move and work. It also helped the psoriatic arthritis that I had. It enabled me to move my fingers. Can I take pan 40 or pan d during pregnancy? Please advice me. ## There are no studies showing the Pantoprazole is known to be dangerous, during pregnancy, but the NIH does advise that it only be taken by a pregnant woman if no other options work, or if other options are not available. The same applies to the Domperidone in Pan D, it should only be taken if your doctor feels that the benefits to you will outweigh any possible risk. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, stomach pain, flatulence, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications?

Can I take methadone with anitroptyline ? ## Hello, Amber! How are you? It is generally not recommended, because the combination can increase the QTc interval of your heart rhythm, which has the potential to be dangerous. They should only be taken together, if your doctor has clearly decided that the possible benefits to you outweigh the risk and is monitoring you regularly. The FDA classified Methadone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?
