looking for a cash only doctor or clinic in dallas texas that prescribes loracets or loratabs ## Almost all doctors and clinics will accept cash for their services if someone doesn't have insurance, or would rather pay that way, than use their insurance. It does not, however, make the transaction untraceable. Your information and the information on whatever narcotic is prescribed, if any, would still be completely logged and reported by the doctor/clinic, as well as by the pharmacy where you had it filled. The only thing that would be avoided by doing it cash only, would be having your insurance company know what you're taking. Does anyone know of any such places in the area? ## Did you ever find the cash only doctor? I am just curious, looking for the same actually. I have insu...

My doctor that prescribed me Norco & Xanax RETIRED. I am looking for a compassionate doctor in the N Dallas, TX area that will prescribe these. Don't want to have to go to a pain clinic. ## Hello, Suzi! How are you? Unfortunately, due to the new restrictions set forth by the DEA last year, you'll likely need to see specialists now for both of these medications, it'll be very difficult to find a new PCP that will prescribe them for you. That likely also means one doctor for the Xanax and another for the Norco. According to the FDA, both of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects that may include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area that ...

Looking for a doctor who Prescribes soma in DFW area, preferably Garland or Plano or Richardson. I’ve been on soma for eight years through my PCP but unfortunately the practice he belongs to has closed down. I went to pain management doctor today and the charges are $500 a visit and does not prescribe some. I can’t take any other muscle relaxers. ## I really feel Texas is limiting the rights of their citizens, and Abbott doesn't care. Trying to set the law of the land with that Abortion Pill, and now wont even let doctors prescribe Soma. With all the horrible murders in the DFW area, and all the recent murders in the state, have you thought of moving to a new place like Arizona, or California? I have yet to have a doctor say no out here ## My PCP had no issues prescribin...

My Dr has moved. I am now without a Dr for my patches...I only have 4 left. Two Drs I went to do not prescribe. Please help. Thank you... ## Hello, Jeri! How are you? If you require such a strong narcotic for pain management, you'll need to see a pain management specialist and if you're going to doctors and just asking if they'll prescribe it, they'll usually see that as being drug seeking behavior and just tell you no. You need to see a new doctor and basically let your medical records speak for you. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I went to a pain Dr. She was the worst Dr I have ever...

I feel like a guinea pig w/ all these different drugs because the doctors ive seen dont want 2 prescribe benzos. its so frustrating because i know benzos work for me. Can someone help me find a doc in dallas willing to prescribe benzos? ## Hello, Damon! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. It is normal for doctors to want to try other options first, before resorting to possibly habit forming medications. Thus, most are going to want you try the others and then proceed from there, if they don't work for you. Additio...

I had chronic (cluster) migraines since I was 7 years old. I'm 62 now and have been on social security due to migraines for 5 years. My doctor is retiring at the end of July. I've been on up to 4 bottles of stadol per month for about 6 years. Stadol and fioricet have been the only relief I have gotten. I do have to go to ER about 6 times a yeae. If anyone knows of a doctor or pain management clinic in the Dallas, Texas area please let ne know. ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? The easiest thing to do would most likely be to ask your current doctor to refer you to a colleague. It will be much faster and easier to get in with a new doctor that way and get the help you need. I'm in Dallas Texas, looking for a doctor who will prescribe Vicodin. I spent money on several visits just to be told they don't write for it. Help I only have a few pills left. Got any other suggestions? ## Hello, Karen! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. However, if you look at the FDA website, you'll see that all medications containing Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen were changed to schedule 2 back in October, so you'll need to see a pain management specialist, if you require it on a long-term ongoing basis. General practice doctors won't write for it. Can anyone please help me!!! I need to find a private doctor in tyler or dallas texas that prescribes methadone. I cant make it to the clinic everyday and I need help with my opiate addiction. I found suboxone doctors but they are too expensive. Please help ## Hello, Sherri! How are you? I'm sorry, but for addiction treatment, a clinic is your only option. It would be illegal for a private doctor to prescribe it for you. It is only allowed to be given in a clinical setting by those that are specially trained in its use. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm sorry, but it's just not that easy to get in the U.S. anymore, due to ever increasing rates of over prescribing and improper prescribing, as well as how commonly such medications are abused. If you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis for treating pain, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Have you found yourself a PCP, yet?
