However, the relevant question is, while taking them, what are your blood pressure levels and your heart rate? And how high was your blood pressure before taking them? If someone's blood pressure is dangerously high, they are often prescribe multiple medications to bring it down safely as fast as possible to get them out of danger. Then once they are stable at a lower blood pressure level, medications can be stopped or changed, as needed.

I have been on Multaq one week. I do not have reduced a-fib and my heart rate is still around 80 which is normal for me. My doctor made a point of telling me to get my coumidin checked. I could go too high or too low. ## Are you also post MI with structural damage to the heart and low ejection/fraction? Hi. I'm on 1.25mg per day of Bisoprolol Fumarate. My resting heart rate goes down to about 45 BPM at times. Should I be concerned? ## Hi Paul, Some safety guidelines for this medication state that your blood pressure should be checked regularly to determine your response to bisoprolol. Your doctor may ask you to check your pulse (heart rate) and if your pulse is faster or slower than it should be, it recommends that you call your doctor. I do agree that 45 bpm is pretty low and could possibly mean that you should adjust your dosage a bit if at all possible. 1.25mg appears to be a pretty low dose of the medication, but I'd ask your doctor about cutting it in half if need be. What happens if you take expired Percocet? ## When did it expire? If it is within one year, it is still as potent as if it were still in date. All Rx's usually start losing their effectiveness at a rate of 5-20% each year. what is the effective half life and absorption rate expected for carb/levo extended release 50/200 mg tab mylan? ## Elimination half-life of levodopa in the presence of carbidopa is about 1.5 hours. Following Carbidopa and Levodopa extended-release, the apparent half-life of levodopa may be prolonged because of continuous absorption. The extended-release formulation releases levodopa and carbidopa over a 4-6 hour period. I'm not quite sure what this equates to in terms of half life. But to be safe I would estimate the half-life to last an extra couple hours. As far as absorption rate goes, the extended release tabs have a bioavailability rate of 0.70 to 0.75. The approx. amount of bioavailable Levodopa in each tab is 140 to 150mg out of the 200mg pill. I hope this helps!

After my Sinuplasty surgery 2 days ago I was given a scrip for 10 tabs of Percocet 5 -325 to be taken 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed. I also have scrip for Ativan EQ .5mg. I was given several weeks ago for Metroprolol withdrawal that was causing my BP&pulse rate to go up.
