There are many people that have had good results with it. The risks are really about the same for both the Pradaxa and Fragmin, so there is really no need for your fears to increase. i have used a contraceptive needle for the first time in my life and started bleeding for a month but my doctor told me its my hormones and it totally normal to bleed, but I was worried and decided to buy fragile and suddenly I have stopped bleeding. How possible is this? ## Hello, Seeyanda! How are you? It is possible that the Fragile was just enough to rebalance your hormones and stop the breakthrough bleeding, though your doctor was right and it was nothing to worry about. It is just do to your hormonal balance changing and your body getting used to it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What are fragile tablets or what's the other name for fragile!

How long after your last dose does Fragmin continue to have blood thinning effects? ## The active ingredient in Fragmin Graduated Syringes is dalteparin sodium. Each syringe contains 10,000 IU (units) of dalteparin sodium as a sterile solution for IV administration. As far as how long the drug effects your blood, I'm unable to provide a direct answer; but listed below is information regarding the half life of this drug (i.e. how long it takes for half of the drug to be excreted from your system): "The half-life of Dalteparin after I.V. inj. is 2 hours and after S.C. inj., 3 to 4 hours. After 4 hours about 20% is seen in the urine, with the major organs for the remainder being the liver, GI tract and kidney. After 72 hours, 70% of a radioactive dalteparin dose has been excreted. ...

currently i am taking fragmin for double PE. thursday i am to get mirena. friday i am to start xarelto. anyone have any advice? any better options out there? ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? This seems to be the preferred way to do it, the Mirena with a blood thinner, to prevent pregnancy and the possible dangers to having been on a blood thinner and having a miscarriage or giving birth. However, the Mirena has been known to cause irregular menstrual bleeding, which might be heavier while taking the Xarelto, so you do need to keep an eye on that and seek medical attention, if it gets very heavy. Side effects to Xarelto may include nausea, dizziness, muscle aches and easy bruising. Is there anything else I can help with?
