I'm cleaning out my medicine cabinet and came across this old RX (cream). It doesn't say what it is for. Can ypu tell me what this RX is used for? ## Hi Suzanne, Based on my research, I believe the abbreviations you mentioned are supposed to correspond with the following list of medications: Ketoprofen (Keto), Baclofen (Baclo), Cyclobenzprine (Cyclo), and Lidocaine (Lido) Apparently the cream itself is meant to be used for inflammation and pain. However, I am unsure of what "Flurb" is supposed to stand for. Do you have any other clues as to what this particular ingredient may be? ## Flurbiprofen is a NSAID that has been available since 1988. It is rarely prescribed in oral form as it has been known to cause spikes or fluctuations in blood pressure and reduces the effecti...

Could this cream cause a scaly red rash that itches if using too much? ## Hi Madonna, Concerning side effects, The US National Library of Medicine (also known as NIH.gov) lists skin rashes/itchy/red/blistering/peeling/ or otherwise as potential symptoms and/or allergic reactions relating to all of the medications listed above, except for Baclofen. So just to clarify, this includes Ketoprofen (Keto) + Cyclobenzprine (Cyclo) + Lidocaine (Lido). And this isn't necessary in regards to using too much, but just happen to be side effects in general. NIH goes on to state that you should contact your doctor immediately if you do experience these symptoms. I hope this helps answer your question!

Most young people pay about $5 per pill, unless hard core users of oxy... You're the mom. Catch it early to help her! Teens don't take muscle relaxers for pain. They give a dreamy feeling like pot that teens like. ## Hello, Pixie! How are you? Is the marking possibly IG 283? Can you please double check? If so, then yes, it contains 10mgs of Cyclobenzprine, the active ingredient in Flexeril. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache.
