If this drug cyclobenzaprine 10mg,is a muscle relaxer and the heart is a muscle, if I'm taking 1 at a time, is there any danger in harming my heart muscle, if so what does it take to harm this muscle? ## In order for it do harm to the heart, per se, you'd have to either have a very bad reaction to it, or overdose on it, by taking too much. Otherwise, yes it is a muscle relaxant and, as such, it can cause depression of the central nervous system, which includes the heart, so it may cause your heart to slow down slightly. This is usually not significant in healthy individuals, with normal heart function. However, you should check with your doctor, to make sure it is safe for you to take it, especially if you've had any type of cardiac problem. Are there any other questions or ... ...

Does Soma have the same drowsy effect or can they be taken during the daytime ## Both Clyclobenzaprine and Soma, which contains Carisoprodol, are muscle relaxants and can cause drowsiness as a side effect. How long have you been taking it? Most side effects usually hit their peak around 4 to 6 weeks of use, once the medication reaches its full effectiveness in the body, and they will taper off in severity, after that. However, if you have been taking it longer than that and are still having such severe problems with the drowsiness, then you should definitely discuss it with your doctor. Is there anything el... ...
