Doc has me on Cyclobenzaprine HCl (10 mg). 1 every 8 hrs as needed for back pain. These are very effective for the pain but make me VERY sleepy. I have read positive reviews on Soma. Hi there ,I am going for a Ultra Sound guided Breast Core Needle Biopsy tomorrow after noon. The doctor had prescribed me 2 tablets of Ativan at .5 mg each. I had taken two before, and nothing happened. There was no drowsiness, nothing. I am extremely terrified about tomorrow, and need something for pain and anxiety. Would it be safe to take the 2 tabs (1 mg) of Ativan before bed, and the cyclo at 10mg right before the procedure? ## I wouldn't change what you are taking before the procedure, without checking with your doctor. I take cyclobenzaprine every night for my back. Mine have always been mustard color with an M on one side and 751 on the other. The last one I had filled and started to take today is peach in color with 1G on one side and 283 on the other. I have not been able to find a picture of them or the # either. ## Hello, Jean! Can they be taken together? ## These are both muscle relaxants, so it is usually best to stick with just taking one, to avoid the possibility of overdose. Good evening. The Dr. has had me on cyclobenzaprine 5mg LEG 3 times a day for several years. I just went to get my refill and was given cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride USP 10 mg instead of the tabs I have been taking. My RX hasn't changed so I was wondering if I had been given the wrong RX or if it is the same with the same side effects.
