What is happening with the production of methylin? ## I am not sure, but there have been other posts about people having a problem getting it, so there seems to be a shortage in some areas. It contains the active ingredient Methylphenidate, which is available under several other brand names, as well as a generic. Have you tried asking your pharmacy or doctor about using an alternative? ## Here in California Costco, CVS, Riteaid and Perscription Solutions have had Methylin on back order since late March. According to pharmacy operators a federal order has temporarily shut down distribution of this drug and many other drugs including pain relievers. I am surprised this has not appeared more prominently in the major media outlets. .

For 6 months I visited my doctor who did angioplasty for me. On the 6th month my doctor prescribed me DEPLATT-CV (one capsule a day). On both of my legs below the ankle swelling occurs. Is it because of this capsule administered to me? It contains Atorvastatin which was discontinued by my doctor earlier due to the same problem (now experienced in legs) in my palm and fingers. In my case, I feel that the Atorvastatin component in DEPLATT-CV is the reason behind it. Has anyone else been met with such a problem before? Please reply. ## Deplatt-CV contains Aspirin, Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel, it is used to prevent clotting, thin the blood and reduce cholesterol. And yes, the Atorvastatin could cause the edema/fluid retention that you are experiencing. One thing you can do, on your own, to...

Checking to see if white pill, marked M and then 3 below the cut line, is in fact metoprolo er tab suc 100mg. First time I've seen these. They are larger than the last generics I got. I'd feel better if the 3 were a 1..... CVS - caremark sent these. The local CVS had no idea what they were. ## My last prescription for Metoprolo er tab suc 50mg was a white round with m50. Doctor called in prescription renewal. They are a thicker round white pill with m2. Mfr is Dr. Reddy's. I don't know mfr of m50. Both are mail order from CVS Caremark. Are these the same pill? ## Yes, from what I've found, both of these tablets are listed in the prescription drug databases as extended release Metoprolol. The one with the M2 contains 50mgs and the one with the M3 contains 100mgs. For ...

Dr.: I'm using Rumoquin, controls the pain for 12 hours after the effectr, the sharp pain is back. HOW safe is this medicone, cvan I use something safer ? Is obesity a secondary effect ? Plaese I'm Desperate " ## There are risks associated with all medications and there is really no way to say whether or not one is going to be safer, than any other, for any given person that uses it. Rumoquin-NF contains Dexamethasone, Methocarbamol and Phenylbutazone, so it combines anti-inflammatories and a muscle relaxant. And yes, weight gain can be a side effect, since the Dexamethasone is a steroid, it may also cause fluid retention. Without knowing where you are located, I am also not sure what else is available for you to use. Have you discussed it with your doctor? ## Rumoquin NF do...
