a week ago I gave my client her Vimpat with 50% water & 50% cranberry juice. She had several back to back gran mal seizures causing her to be hospitalized. Did the cranberry juice counter act the vimpat? ## Hello, Nene50! How are you? How is she doing? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the Vimpat and any form of cranberry. since I can no longer get this medication, I would like to know if there is a subsitute that works. ## Is deconamine available anywhere? If not, is there an effective alternative? I was switched to Allegra D over a year ago for allergies and have had 4 sinus infections since, despite sinus surgery. Please help me find a doctor that will help me out with my pain management though medication, there is no physical therapy or epidoral shot thats going to help with my pain. My mom had a craniotomy one month ago. She is still in rehab. She experiences nightmare-ish hallucinations though. They give her trepeline in the evenings toghether with her epilepsy medication. Is Trepeline given for depression (depression is common for craniotomy patients). Anti-depressants can cause hallucinations. Will Trepeline be the culprit? ## What does her doctor think is causing them? Some antidepressants can cause them, in some people, but it's really difficult to say whether it's solely the medication, the craniotomy, or perhaps a combination of both.

i have uti and was put on cipro 500 for 7 days. it cleared up pretty quick. however after the med, 3 days later, it came back in full bloom. i have been keeping drinking juice made of 3oz fresh cooked cranberry 3oz without sugar every day even after cipro. now i am on nitrofurantion mono 100 for 2 days. it didn't work and it got worse during the late evenings. should continue with this med or try cipro or other med? really discouraged and have been very painful. please help. thanks. ## You need to return to your doctor. I cannot locate Deconamine SR capsules anywhere! Is it still possible to obtain this medication, and if so, where can I find it? My brain zaps started out two years ago when I was taken to the emergency room for a severe migraine and a kidney infection. I was given a shot of Toradol and immediately knew I'd been given too much. Within a week, I started experiencing cranial zaps that escalated in numbers and would hit at any given time with no particular trigger. My doctor dismissed these as not real and put me on 40mg Citalopram. I have an extremely painful oral Neuropathy of 3 cranial nerves for three years. I have had to travel out of state to see Specialists in both Oral Facial Pain and Neurology. There is no cure for this problem. Have tried acupuncture and Homeopathy without any improvement. Is narco stronger than methadone ## Hi crank, Did you mean Norco perhaps? Based on my research, patients using Methadone have reported it as being much stronger than Hydrocodone, which is combined with Acetaminophen in Norco. For example, some state that (10 mg) of Methadone give a similar effect as a (30 mg) or (40 mg) Hydrocodone. The problem with Methadone is the withdrawal process, it can be much more painful than any other withdrawal process. This is not going to be the case with every patient, since everyone reacts to medication differently.
