I began taking Coversyl 2MG (Perindopril Erbumine) around 10 days ago. For the first week symptoms of side effects were minor, lately I seem to fit in to a 0.3% group who exhibit Hypotension. Also dizziness, joint & muscle pain, easily and earlier tired, bouts of Diarrhea and so on. Since the mission of this medication seems noble, I would like to stay on it. 2MG is the lowest initial dosage. Does anyone know if the tiny tablet can be cut in half ? (Becomes 1MG?)

I am thinking of switching from 10 mg Ramipril to Coversyl. Does anyone know what the equivalent dose of Coversyl is please? ## Each 2.5mg of Ramipril is equivalent to 4mgs of the Perindopril in the Coversyl, so you'd be looked at about 16mgs as an equivalent dosage. Why are you thinking of switching? Is the Ramipril not working for you? Learn more Coversyl details here. ## Thanks the Ram works fine, but my wife who is a Diabetic Educator works with the Diabetes specilist Docs, and they think Coversyl is slightly better than Ramipril.

I've been taking Coversyl-AM 4/5 tabs for the last three years and have also been operated on for my spinal cord. I'm now getting swelling in my feet and would like to know if this is one of the side effects of the Coversyl tabs? If so, pls advise me if there is any other alternative medicine. Thanks. ## Hello, Felix! How are you doing? Has there been any change? There is a chance it could be due to the medication, according to the U.S. FDA. I take Coversyl for high blood pressure. In the mornings my BP is usually around 137 over 96. In the evenings it has consistently been around 106 over 77. Why such a difference? I take the Coversyl in the mornings, would it stop having an effect after 24 hours? ## Is your morning check done, before you take your medication, or before it has a chance to start working? If so, that would explain it being slightly higher in the mornings. A different evening reading can be explained by your activity, diet, other medications you may be taking, and etc. It is normal for it to fluctuate throughout the day, you will not really ever get readings that are consistently the same. Please help. I am traveling at 11:30. Will it affect me? ## How are you doing, Nor? Did you experience any adverse effects? Depin Retard contains the active ingredient Nifedipine, which is an anti-anginal medication and the Lopin is, as Donna said, Aspirin, used as a blood thinner. They are not interchangeable. The TG TOR contains Atorvastatin and the Zosta contains Simvastatin, they are in the same class of medications and are used to lower cholesterol, so switching from one to the other here isn't really a problem. Who made the switch? Was it ordered...
